Our smart business analytics tools provide clients with in-depth relevant and actionable insights into their organisations’ operational planning and management needs.

We provide our clients with regular risk evaluation, mitigation and elimination. As risks are highlighted, the b.rain team makes intuitive and actionable recommendations to suit clients’ individual needs and facilitate growth.

Office Administration

b.rain provides monthly and annual accounting services to clients to assist with monthly reporting, monthly or bi-monthly Value Added Tax (VAT) returns, as well as annual tax returns. Each package is tailored to meet each customer’s unique needs, and includes appropriate accounting software solutions.

We also process monthly payroll runs, with PAYE, IRP5 and bi-annual EMP501 submissions.

Schools Management

As part of our commitment to developing the future leaders of South Africa, we have created an innovative School and Learner management system, specifically for disadvantaged schools, supported by the Pick n Pay Education Foundation and Woolworths MySchool Programme.

Ian Pierce

Ian was an accountant from birth. After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1986, he gleaned extensive local and global experience at Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte & Touche. He set up a practice in South Africa in 1991 and today specialises in company restructuring and privatisation, audits, due diligence reviews, transactions and widespread corporate consulting.

Patience Madziwa

Patience completed her Honours in Accounting at Rhodes University in 2014, and then joined RAiN as a South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) Clerk in 2015. Since then she has risen through the ranks from Junior Audit Clerk to Assistant Audit Manager. She has experience in both the public and private sectors, specialising in consulting assignments.

Jacqueline Steinschaden

With an MBA degree and BCom Hons Management Accounting behind her, Jacqueline is an experienced Operations and Financial Manager in the food production and retail industries. She joined the team at b.rain in 2018, bringing professional finance, business and technical skill-sets to the team. She is tasked with developing the b.rain team, which is focused on digital services for clients.

Sicelo Masuku

Sicelo qualified as a chartered accountant in 2018 after completing both his under- and post-graduate

degrees at North West University. His passion lies within education; he is currently involved with career

guidance at high schools across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region with JB Marks

Education Trust Fund Alumni, where he serves as the Executive Committee Finance Portfolio Head.

Rochelle van Greunen

Rochelle completed her BCom Hons at the University of the Free State and her Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) part-time with Unisa. She is a registered tax practitioner with several years’ tax

consulting experience. She has a very strong work ethic and thrives on challenges, ensuring the best possible

client service. She joined b.rain’s dynamic team of experts in 2019.

Hazel joined RAiN in 2012 and has been in the audit industry for over seven years. She has experience in both
