• The proposed Ampang LRT extension line will commence

from the present Sri Petaling station, passing through

Puchong, Kinrara and ending at the hub in Putra Heights.

The proposed line will consist of 13 new stations and

Package A is from Seri Petaling Station to Station No. 5

Karak highway. DUKE has seven interchanges with four directional ramps with

features that include advanced Traffic Information and Management system, Variable

Message Signs, Central Control & Monitoring system and Electronic Tolling.

Stretching 8.1km, the EDL

is an open toll system with

dual three-lane

carriageway directly

linking the new Customs,

Immigration and

Quarantine Complex (CIQ)

at Tanjung Puteri and

North-South Expressway

via the Pandan Interchange

in Johor Bahru.

The EDL project also

included providing an

integrated traffic

surveillance and control

system, street lighting and

traffic information system

that would reduce the

journey between the

Pandan Interchange and

CIQ to less than 10

minutes. The project will

improve the traffic flow

within Johor Bahru Central

Business District. The

project will also improve

the transportation link

between Johor Bahru and

Singapore, which is

urgently needed.
