A couple of years ago I came across this show, A Man of No Importance and loved it. This show has always been in the back of my mind as a show I’d want to tackle as a director one day, and as luck would have it I was given that chance. Huge thanks to Coronado Playhouse for allowing us to tell this story. A Man of No Importance is, at its core, a play about love, acceptance and self-discovery, told through the beautiful music and lyrics of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, and the words of Terrence McNally. It’s about learning to come face-to-face with one’s own true nature and learning to love one’s self before you can go and love who you love.I have the privilege of working with an amazing cast and crew of storytellers who have embraced coming together and telling this

story. This show celebrates the beautiful words of Oscar Wilde, the rambunctious streets of Dublin, and the pot holes along the road to self-discovery.
