Studio newsScrapbooking has come a long way. The tradition of documenting and preserving family photos and memo-ries started with our ancestors many, many moons ago and has since evolved into a passionate, fun-filled and artistic hobby to be enjoyed by crafters of all ages.

When you think back to your “early days”--what comes to mind? What trends have made their way in and out of your layouts over the years? What all have you learned? It’s pretty amazing to think about, isn’t it? What an interesting and ever-changing craft we’ve become a part of these days! It’s exciting!

So the first Saturday in May is what we like to call--a HOLIDAY. In other words, when we wake up in the morning on National Scrapbooking Day, there’s little more on our minds than crop-ping, shopping, crafting, creating, pictures, layouts, mini albums, sketch books, papers and cardstock, glitter, ribbons, punching, stamping, gluing inking... well, you get the point.

It’s a day to celebrate a hobby that’s both therapeutic and functional! A day to gather with friends at a crop or class and to laugh, scrap, and eat chocolate until closing! (And...having a few exclusive sales always helps, too--especially these days! Right?)
