What’s New The following topics describe new features for Control-M/EM fix pack 4:

Control-M Application Plug-ins enhanced user interface (on page 6)

Control-M Self Service new features (on page 6)

Control-M Application Plug-ins enhanced user interface A new and enhanced user interface is now available in Control-M Workload Automation fix pack 4 for the following versions of Control-M Application Plug-ins:

Control-M for Business Process Integration Suite 6.3.02

Control-M for Oracle Business Intelligence 7.0.00

Control-M for SAP Business Objects 7.0.00

Control-M for PeopleSoft 8.0.00

Control-M for File Watcher 8.0.00

Control-M for OS 400 7.0.01

For details please see Control-M Workload Automation Application Plug-ins 1.0.00.200 Release Notes.

Control-M Self Service new features The user of the Control-M Self Service Web Interface can now search for a specific job without the need

to locate the service that belongs to. Job Neighborhood can be viewed from the search results tab.

The Order dialog user experience has been improved: default values are displayed to the user, the dialog is resizable.

The user of the Web Interface can define their favorite services and only view them in the service view.

The admin can now choose to block the users from either one of the following clients: EM Workload Automation, Control-M Self Service and Control-M Workload Change Manager. For example, this will allow a user to work from the Web interface only.

Performance improvements have been made so that the jobs graphic display can support the Tile view of thousands of jobs.

When the user orders a service, an empty box will be displayed on the service view until the service is actually created. This provides indication for the user that the order service request has been sent.

Change the design of the dummy job icon to match the icon of the V8 Workload Automation client(QM001824561).

For z/Os job, the restart now displays the steps of the JCL(QM001802904).
