Critical Initiatives *Math instructional coaches will be added to assist all secondary schools in implementing math instruction best practices 'Building administrators will be required to become instructional leader in their schools 'Specialized instruction for special populations. This includes, but is not limited to, advance and remedial instruction, and any other Instruction used to benefit our specialized populations. 'Gaston High School will gather and analyze data for their subgroups and differentiated in- struction, as needed. * Students will enter 9thGrade prepared with a 4 year plan that addresses their individual academic and careerinterest needs.

* Implement Alabama's Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling plan.

* Provide students and parents resources and information to better prepare them for the next stage of theireducation or careers (7th_12thGrade).

Objective 2: All students will attend school daily and be engaged in rigorous and relevant learning.

Objective 3: Ensure that every student, teacher, and administrator has accessto an Internet Connected Device (ICD)with viable accesspoints and appropriate software and Web based resources for research, communication, multimediacontent creation, and consumption.Objective 4: Provide Peer Helper opportunities for students so that they know they are cared about.
