National Youth Day

National Youth Day at International Institute

of Management Studies was celebrated to

mark Swami Vivekananda’s birth

anniversary. As a socially responsible

Institute, students organized activities from

11th and 12th January for making students

aware of teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

On the occasion the events such as poster

making competition, elocution competition

and essay writing on Discipline in life were

organised.

Makara Sankranti

Rotaract club of Sai Balaji Education Society

organised Makara Sankranti on 14th January

which is one of the few ancient Indian festival.

Everyone enjoyed the festival by flying kites.

Students enjoyed making kites and decorating

the campus with colourful and designer kites. As

per the tradition of Maharashtra til sweets were

distributed to all. It was a wonderful memory to

cherish.

Republic Day

Like every year, SBES celebrated 71st republic

day with patriotism and enthusiasm. The invited

Guest of honour for the function was Brig.

Dhananjay Vinayak Vidwans. Founder

President, SBES hoisted the flag in presence of

guests, faculties, staff and students. In his

speech, Brig. Dhananjay Vinayak Vidwans

addressed the role of youth in society building

and appreciated the work done by the Institute in

the direction of Nation building. Founder

President Prof. Manish R. Mundada in his

speech motivated students to perform their duties

with utmost sincerity and in favour of the

national good. After the speeches all enjoyed

sweets and cultural performances coloured with

patriotism. The students committee organised a

Procession with the Theme “Unity and Integrity

with Diversity”. All took part in the procession

followed by friendly cricket match between

students and faculty members.

Lohri Celebration 2020

Rotract club of Sai Balaji Education Society took

initiative to celebrate the harvest festival of

Punjab, Lohri. On the day, members of the

Rotaract club organized a bonfire for all students

to mark the festival. Students sang and danced

around the bon fire and enjoyed the traditional

Lohri sweets like rewri and gur.

"Wish that the warmth of Bonn fire, sweetness of

Gur and Rewri at Lohri remain with you

forever."

HR Meet on Industry 4.0

IIMS organized an excellent series of session for

students to interact with the stalwarts from the

Industry. The Meet was organized to make

students understand the practicalities of the real

world. Students gained a lot from the wonderful

speaker from various field of HR

The immensely knowledgeable & experienced

speakers shared about how actually the

Corporate Connect is important, discussed and

highlighted Industry 4.0, Changing Recruitment

strategies and skills for 2020, challenges of work

place etc.The sessions were a perfect blend of

inspiration and learning.

Marketing Conclave

Like every year, IIMS organized Marketing

conclave to make students understand the

granularities of real time marketing job

expectations. The conclave was graced with the

presence of Mr. Maulik Shah, Zonal Business

Students got enlightened and educated with the

presence of great personalities of marketing

direct from the industry. Students learnt about

challenges and opportunities of marketing, art of

marketing to the digital customer, emerging

trends in marketing and many more things.
