Student success is at the heart of all that we do, and with our dedication to helping you grow personally, academically and professionally, it’s easy to see why Titans succeed.
INDIVIDUALIZED ACADEMIC SUPPORT Free tutoring for most classes is
available through the Center for
Academic Resources. Students also
have access to faculty—not teaching
assistants—for questions about
course material, career direction and
academic opportunities.
If you thrive in a group study
environment, free supplemental
instruction sessions provide group
review opportunities for select
100- and 200-level courses.
THE HONORS COLLEGE The Honors College is a program
for high-achieving students at
UW Oshkosh. Qualifying students
enjoy smaller class sizes, increased
interaction with faculty, early
registration, Honors study abroad
opportunities, independent research
and more. uwosh.edu/honors
STUDENT-CENTERED RESEARCH FOCUS UW Oshkosh is a research-
comprehensive regional university,
which means our faculty and students
collaborate every day on important
research projects. UW Oshkosh
receives $12-14 million annually
for research and creative activities.
Whether your interests land you in
the science lab or art studio, you’ll
work directly with world-class faculty
on impactful research.
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION PROGRAMS At UW Oshkosh, differences are
expected and celebrated. Through
the Division of Academic Support of
Inclusive Excellence, students make
connections outside of the classroom.
There are a wide range of student
groups and campus events where
people of all backgrounds connect,
grow and belong.
Take advantage of campus resources
like our LGBTQ+ Center, Women’s
Center, Student Achievement Services
for students of color and specialized
research support through the McNair
Scholars Program.
CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Employers today expect students to
supplement classroom learning with
career planning and professional
experiences. What sets Oshkosh apart
is the abundant internships throughout
the Fox Valley, as well as the support
you receive in finding, interviewing and
landing these opportunities.
MATH TUTORING AND WRITING CENTER Students looking for assitance with
math and writing receive free help,
working with staff and trained students
on assignments, projects and papers.

be a problem. Whether you prefer to
be on the stage or in the stands,
UW Oshkosh offers opportunities for all
