Classroom Expectations

• No food in labs – may bring in bottles of water or beverages with lids
• Disruptive individuals can be asked to leave the classroom

• Late students are to take their seats quietly and not disturb those around them
• Students are not to walk around classroom, or talk during lectures
• Set aside at least 3 hours after class time for homework

• Project Management Institute.
– Professional organization that governs the Project Management Industry.

• Established professional certification.
Definition of a Project
• According to PMI – it is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result
• In other words:– Is Goal Specific – established objective– Has a start and end date– Has money, time and other resources
