These systems were chosen based on the volume of reported use of Class B firefighting foams in training centers and the vulnerability of the wells. The City of Bemidji was one of those municipal water supplies. The laboratory analysis noted a trace amount of PFCs, which are below the health based exposure limit, for the city of Bemidji. On-going monitoring will be conducted as a public health action.
