Jon Lindholm, Employee of the Month

Jon’s been with Configura almost four years – working from our Linköping, Sweden, headquarters. What he loves best about the company is that employees are free to explore their creativity.

“If you have an idea, the company encourages you to try it and find new ways to improve our product. Another good thing is that there are no long decision chains,” he says.

For the last year, he’s been working on MyConfigura, the company’s web portal, which just launched June 18. MyConfigura received a Best of NeoCon award.

“MyConfigura’s challenge was to fit all of our different customers’ needs into one solution. Now that it’s released, we’ve already gotten calls and emails from clients saying that MyConfigura has helped them to simplify their daily work. It’s a great feeling to know that people really like what you’ve helped to create!”

What about fun tidbits about Jon? He used to be a goalkeeper on a hockey team, and he holds a silver medal from the Swedish Championship in the junior league when he played for the team. In the summer, he enjoys watching soccer and also serves as a soccer referee.

Lars Lanhed, CET Designer User

Lars Lanhed is the genius designer behind much of Configura’s branding and some of our renderings.

He is a photographer and designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What do you love best about CET Designer? The software’s simplicity is something that I have truly come to admire. This especially comes to light when comparing it to other software products. What would take me three hours in a normal 3D rendering program only takes me five to 10 minutes in CET Designer. The bottom line is it’s incredibly effective.

What do you love about designing? I love that you actually have the possibility to create whatever is in your imagination. This has not been possible during the majority of my life but with modern 3D rendering software like CET Designer, it finally is. Whatever I imagine, I can create. That’s an amazing feeling.

Tell us a bit about yourself. I was an aspiring musician during my young adulthood, which did not work out. That, however, made me pursue a career in photography. I earned a bachelor of fine arts degree at the University of Gothenburg and have worked as a photographer ever since. Later, I expanded my areas of expertise into graphic design. As a family man, I spend a lot of time with my wife, Elisabeth (who also designs for Configura), and children.
