Mindfulness – Stress Statistics and Prevalence
Aim and Goals:
Since 2007, the Stress in America™ survey has analyzed how stress influences the wellbeing and prosperity of adults residing in the United
States. In 2015, reported overall stress levels expanded marginally, with more prominent rates of adults reporting extreme levels of stress than
in 2014. A large number of adults report that stress mounting a negative impact to their mental and physical state. A sizable number of people
think that they are not doing what’s necessary to deal with their stress.
Concerning the sources of their stress, adults majorly suffers from stress relating to their family responsibilities. Since 2007, the review has
discovered that finance and profession are the major two sources of stress (67% and 65% in 2015, respectively). This year, out of the blue, the
overview unveils that family responsibilities are the third most common stressor (54%), trailed by individual wellbeing concerns (51%), medical
issues influencing the family (50 percent) and the economy (50%).
Recent times, young generations and females are facing difficulties in managing stress. These populaces have reported higher average levels
of stress and been more probable than their counterparts to state that their stress levels have expanded in the most recent year. Adults with
inabilities and Adults who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) likewise reported higher average levels of stress and are more

Tourism also composes a large part of Boston’s economy, with 21.2 million domestic and international visitors spending $8.3 billion in 2011; excluding visitors from Canada and Mexico, over 1.4 million international tourists visited Boston in 2014, with those from China and the United Kingdom leading the list.
The city of Boston has got many spots to visit are Freedom tail, New England Aquarium, Fenway Park, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, Old State House, John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Boston National Historical Park, Franklin Park Zoo, Boston Children’s Museum, Harvard Museum of Natural History, Skywalk Observatory, Boston Light, Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard Art Museums, Bunker Hill Monument, Harvard Square and visiting nearby cities (a big bonus in Boston, since New York is right next door). And there is always some sort of festival; after all, there are 250,000 students in this buzzing city. Whenever you visit Boston, it really does have something for everyone and certainly Boston has it all.
