Conference awardsWe are delighted to announce the following awards aspresented at the National Conference in Southport:

• Best free paper – Water, water everywhere: A workshopon intravenous fluids. Awarded to Phillip Woodrow,who received £200;

• Best poster award: Focus groups as a way of improv-ing quality of care within the intensive care unit.

Region of the Year-Anglia Region

Awarded £200 to R Hill from the intensive care unit atthe Chelsea and Westminster foundation trust;

• Regional committee member – Tim Collins from South-ern Region;

• Region of the Year – Anglia Region.
