Cellist Phillip Green makes an appearance in concert:

  • Concerto for Jew’s Harp, Mandora and Orchestra:

In typical Paul Cox fashion, the main piece of music is a “found” composition rather than the work of a film composer.

The music credits appear first in the end credits, and are supered over a kite flying above St. Kilda. The image fades to black and other credits follow:

  • Johann Georg Albrechtsberger’s work runs over the head and tail credits and appears occasionally in the underscore. At time of writing, the music could be heard on YouTube, the first movement starting here.

(Below: CD of the music used in the film).
