The Components of

Discipleship basics: Mainly carried as main articles to expound on basics for a new believer. Going through establishing disciples in the foundational items that have gotten forgotten e.g. the trinity, rapture, overcoming temptation alongside lost disciplines like fasting, consistent bible reading, scripture memory, bible study etc

Testimonies from students: We pick out outstanding heroes of faith stories and testimonies from students in our CUs. In a country where success is measured by the mean grade, we introduce the real measure of a man-the greatness of his soul

Character study through nature analogy: A lot of wisdom lies in the ability to correlate nature lessons and our lives. Jesus used common animal world habits to illustrate character. This corner does an analysis of a particular animal that exhibits a certain character quality that the issue is analyzing and puts it into day to day living.

Components cont…..Cartoon illustration: The humorous cartoons speak to the students giving clues on how to respond practically to the message carried in the issue.

Components cont…..• Counsel: Many students make decisions on crucial life

issues based on street talk, peer pressure and the general notion that truth is relative. Pasta Pablo [a Timazi character] is there to respond to the pressing issues using scripture as the absolute authority. We receive questions on different issues and answer them in relevance to the main issue of every bulletin.

Fellowship, an inter-church non-denominational, not-for-profit, charismatic Christian society specializing in the presentation of the message of Jesus Christ, especially to the young people in the schools and colleges of Kenya. We spend our lives preaching, counseling, discussing, listening and praying with students. Therefore we write this bulletin from our encounters with the undercurrents in our schools today..

Our BudgetCurrently, it costs Kshs 600 to supply one school with 16copies of TIMAZI per term. We are targeting to cover 3000 out of the 4500 schools in Kenya. This would require at least 1.8million shillings per term to reach over 1.2million High School students which is about 1kshs per student.
