The table below shows a sampling of our extensive portfolio of adhesive and surfacing products. Our adhesive systems provide excellent structural performance, durability and environmental resistance. Our surfacing products mould to a tough, sandable, paint-ready surface directly from the mould.
Tooling Prepregs Product Selector Guide:
The table below describes some of our available tooling materials. These materials offer the attractive combination of a low initial cure temperature and good out life. They can be cured in or out of the autoclave and provide a high-quality tooling surface finish with either curing method. Moreover, their level of tack is not too high which makes them very easy to work with.

Cytec offers a complete package of vacuum bagging process materials to support the use of our prepregs in oven or autoclave curing processes. With our extensive product portfolio and customer focused distribution facilities, Cytec is a truly a global one-stop-shop for vacuum bagging materials and consumables. Using a range of kitting equipment allows us to pre-cut both simple and complex shapes of all our materials and combine them to deliver a complete kit ready for part manufacture. Combined with our reusable bags that can offer hundreds of cycles and save hundreds of man hours, we are the people who can support process design optimisation.
Tool Design & Manufacturing
Cytec innovation extends to providing a complete solution to the customer part manufacturing experience. As such, we not only offer the structural materials and their process consumables, but also a complete range of composite tooling solutions. Our tooling prepregs offer outstanding surface finish and longevity for the manufacture of complex mould tools. Our design service can support tool design optimisation to ensure a fit-for-purpose solution. In addition we offer soft tooling technology including reusable vacuum bags, integral heater blankets, intensifiers and caul sheets.
