Complainant states that he does be.l-ieve that the above listed items to be seized are now l-ocated on the premj-ses described above, because: On Wednesday, March 1,2'", 2014, Mayor Ardis discovered that an unknown person had created a Twitter account uLilizing Mayor Ardis' name, information and photograph. The Twitter account was titled "Gpeoriamayor". In addition to the creation of the @peoriamayor Twitter account, Mayor Ardis discovered that the individual had creaLed "tweers" impersonating Mayor Ardis. These "tweets" implied Mayor Ardis utilizes iIlegal drugs, associates with prostitutes, and utilized offensive j-nappropriate language. Upon discovery of the account, Mayor Ardis reported the account to the Peoria Pofice DepartmenL. During that report, Ardis stated that he had not created nor authorized anyone to create the account using his personal photograph, or information from his e.l,ected office, Additionally, he wished to pursue the incident. On Wednesday, March L2, 2014, this affianL accessed the Gpeoriamayor twitter account and observed that the account utilized the photograph of Jim Ardis. Suh-pequently that search warrant was served upon Twitter.On March 27'n, 2014 Twitter provided information purs-uant to thesearch warrant the Internet Protocol address used to create the@peoriamayor account was 50.158.I8I .236 utilized on 3-9-2014 at2L:22:08 +0000. A Whois search was conducted of the i-nternetprotocol address 50.158.I9L.236. That search indicated that ComcastCommunicaLions Inc. owns and leases that Internet protoco-I address.On March 29"", 2014 Tenth Judiciaf .fudge Wilson issued a searchwarrant for digital storage media owned and operated by Comcast/-^nnt rh.i ^-+ I ^-^vvrLuLLur t-! \-cr L-LLrrrs, -LrrL. to provide subscriber inf ormation for InternetProtocof address 50.158.I9L.236. Subsequently that search warrantwas served upon Comcast Communi-cations, Inc. On Aprj-1 1"., 20I4Comcast Communications Inc. provided information pursuant to thesearch warrant the subscriber name is Jacob EI]-iot. i,220 NUniversity St, Peoria, Illinois 6L606.

Complainant has been a Pofice Officer j-n the state of Ilfinois forover 5 years, and is currently assigned to the CriminalInvestigations Drvision, Property Crj-mes Unit, j-n the peoria poficeDepartment.
