The Twitter account wastitled "Gpeoriamayor". In addition to the creation of the@peoriamayor Twitter account, Mayor Ardis discovered that theindividual had creaLed "tweers" impersonating Mayor Ardis. These"tweets" implied Mayor Ardis utilizes iIlegal drugs, associateswith prostitutes, and utilized offensive j-nappropriate language. During thatreport, Ardis stated that he had not created nor authorized anyoneto create the account using his personal photograph, or informationfrom his e.l,ected office, Additionally, he wished to pursue theincident. On Wednesday, March L2, 2014, this affianL accessed theGpeoriamayor twitter account and observed that the account utilizedthe photograph of Jim Ardis. Subsequently that search warrantwas served upon Comcast Communi-cations, Inc.
