Infinity Engineering Consultants, LLC is a broad spectrum firm with focus on Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and

Structural disciplines. Traditional land based projects comprise the body of Infinity’s municipal work. In addition,

the company has expertise in port design, particularly, ship and barge terminal design.

Founded and located in New Orleans, Infinity’s total full-time staff includes fourteen engineers, seven AutoCAD

designers, and administrative support personnel. In support of Infinity’s diverse capabilities, our staff includes

registered electrical, mechanical, civil and structural engineers. The Principals of the company are both licensed

professional engineers in the State of Louisiana.

Structural design includes structural foundations. We have experience in designing foundations for all types of

load and soil conditions: everything from founding upon soft sedimentary soils (such as those found in south

Louisiana) to bedrock materials found in most other parts of the world. We can design drive pile foundations,

auger cast foundations, and rock anchors – practically any type of foundation on every type of soil.

Construction Permitting often involves every level of government, including local, state and federal concerns.

Permits will often control the critical path of your project. This is why it is important to have an experienced

consultant who understands how to pursue and ultimately obtain permitting approval for your project – as timely

as possible. Infinity’s engineers have experience securing permits from a wide variety of agencies. Whether it is

approval from the State Fire Marshall, the EPA, Minerals Management Service, or the U.S. Army Corps of

Engineers, Infinity understands the process and can assist you every step of the way.

Infinity can provide Construction Management and Inspection Services for projects involving civil, structural,

mechanical or marine construction. We can provide an experienced construction manager who oversees all

phases of construction, from contract award through commissioning. Having an experienced QA/QC inspector

who is familiar with the nature of the work, and the support of a qualified engineering staff, is critical to the

success of the job. Our inspectors will coordinate between the contractor and the client, understand budget,

deadlines, and will be there to resolve deviations in the field, as they occur.

COMPUTER DESIGN CAPABILITIES

Infinity Engineering Consultants is equipped to handle all of our clients’ drafting needs. Due to the diverse array of

services offered, our drafting team is familiar and skilled at providing the multi-disciplinary effort that is often

required to complete a job. Infinity offers drafting services in AutoCAD 2016, REVIT 2015, Civil 3D 2015, Plant 3D,

Navisworks 2016, and Structural Steel Detailing 2015. Drawings may be converted to older versions of AutoCAD as

required to meet client needs. We recognize that the expectation is to not only complete the job correctly and

under budget, but also on schedule. With that in mind, Infinity has grown to adapt to an expanding workload and

allows for an adequate capacity for timely completion of projects.

Our Staff

Infinity’s firm members are skilled in project assessment, producing engineering designs, construction plans and

specifications and providing construction administration. Infinity has a total firm size of (22), including (3) civil

engineers, (3) structural engineers, (3) electrical engineers, (3) mechanical engineers, (6) draftsmen and (4)

administrative staff. With a close-knit engineering and design staff and quick-response communication, Infinity is

equipped to ensure expeditious prosecution of work.

Some of our key staff are as follows:

As Principal Partner of Infinity Engineering Consultants, William J. Thomassie, P.E. is

responsible for all civil / structural designs. Included in those responsibilities are site

inspection and evaluation, cost estimating, permitting, specification development, project

execution, design, and drafting supervision. He provides the criteria for QA / QC and

participates in all project review meetings. As required, he coordinates project relevant

activities between the Company, sub-contractors, and the client.

Mr. Thomassie’s 24+ year career has typically included management of multi-disciplinary

projects. With many of these projects requiring up to $45,000,000 for installation or

modifications, his detailed structural designs, along with construction support, enabled completion on schedule

and with minimal adverse impact on commerce in the area. Mr. Thomassie has been a licensed professional

engineer in the State of Louisiana since 1997.

As Principal Partner of Infinity Engineering Consultants, Raoul V. Chauvin, III, P.E. is

responsible for all mechanical system designs. Included in those responsibilities are client

interface, site inspection and evaluation, contract negotiation, project management,

design, and drafting supervision. He participates in project review meetings and

coordinates project relevant activities between the Company and the client.

Mr. Chauvin’s professional 25+ year career has revolved around providing cost effective,

efficient design solutions for municipalities, offshore oil and gas facilities, inland marine

terminals, and chemical plants. Projects were completed according to a schedule dictated

by the Client, weather conditions, budget limitations or equipment availability. Mr. Chauvin has prepared cost

estimates, budgets, and completed projects under budget. He has been a licensed professional engineer in the

State of Louisiana since 1999.

Chief Engineer Rachel Kenney, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and more than nine years of experience in the

field. Ms. Kenney specializes in structural design, civil design engineering, specification

development, and bid package development. She has been licensed in the State of

Louisiana since 2013.

Our Experience

Infinity has been providing engineering services locally and nationally for almost thirteen (13) years. Our

experience spans over municipal, industrial and marine projects. Please refer to the following projects as

representative of our relevant project experience.

GULF LAND CEMENT RECEIVING & DELIVERY TERMINAL Portland Cement (formerly Gulf Land Cement) – Waggaman, Louisiana

Total Cost: $6,000,000

Infinity provided design engineering for the new Portland

cement receiving and delivery terminal for Gulf Land

Cement on the Mississippi River in Waggaman, LA. The

designs included a new barge unloading facility, storage

silos, bulk conveying equipment, and truck loading system.

The facility was designed for the breasting and mooring of

ocean going and inland river barges.

The project included the design of a new barge offloading

facility, 300’ river barge access walkway and barge access

platform, (3) storage silos, bulk conveying equipment, and

truck loading system and platform, and weigh station.

Infinity performed all structural, mechanical and electrical

designs associated with the weigh station, including the foundation for and specification of the truck scale.

The barge offloading equipment consisted of a hopper, slide gate valves, dual rotary crushers, compressors, a

generator, a 3,000 gallon diesel fuel tank, piping, and a barge haul winch system.

Each silo had a capacity of 500 tons, and was controlled with level switches, inlet diverters, and emergency vents.

A compressed air blower injected air into the silo to keep the cement fluidized for easy unloading. Cement passed

from the silos, through slide gates, to a dust collector and loading spout. Trucks were filled below the spout while

parked on a truck scale rated for heavy use and harsh

environment. The scale had additional steel members,

incorporating a bridge design and integral load cell protected

pockets.

IMTT NEW DOCK #4 ADDITION Geismar, LA

Total Cost: $25,000,000 (E)

The new dock, located on the

Mississippi River, is being designed

in line with the current dock such

that the two will have one common

fenderline. The dock itself is a small

rectangular deck area with a hose

tower on top. Flanking the dock are

independent breasting and

mooring dolphins for both barges

and ships. The dock is fed by a new

piperack and walkway that tie in to

the existing rack just behind the

existing dock.

In function, the dock is intended to service ships up to perhaps 650

feet in length with no more than 45 feet of draft, as well as river

barges. The project has been permitted by the U.S. Army Corps of

Engineers for this purpose.

The electrical designs include new electrical power and control

systems to tie to the existing electrical power and SCADA systems at

the existing terminal facility. They include the extension of the

existing 480 Volt, 3 Phase power distribution system to a new Motor

Control Center in a new dock house building, extension of existing

single mode and multi-mode fiber optic DCS, SIS and plant data

systems to the new dock house, power for new telemetry controlled

hose tower crane, power and controls for safety shutdown systems,

site lighting, control stations, grounding, waste water level control systems, navigation lighting, instrumentation

for pumping operations, and safety systems.

Infinity is the Prime Consultant responsible for all structural, civil, mechanical and electrical designs associated

with the design and construction of a new ship and barge dock at IMTT’s Geismar Terminal.

IMTT has established a relatively new liquid terminal at the Geismar location and has been utilizing an existing

ship dock that was in place before the new terminal was constructed. IMTT is wished to expand the dock capacity

on the river for this terminal by establishing a new ship and barge dock immediately upstream of the existing.

BT-1 OFFLOADER Port of Lake Charles – Lake Charles, Louisiana

Total Cost: $13,000,000

Infinity provided design engineering for the specification

of an 800 ton/hr bulk handling offloader on an existing

dock. The project included structural assessment of the

dock platform and assessment and design of 4,160V

electrical modifications to accommodate the new

offloader requirements.

The crane performance specification detailed parameters

for all moving parts contingent upon the required loading

rate (clam shell bucket), cables, pulleys, hoppers, slide

gates, conveyors, motors, etc.

MOUNTAINEER LIMESTONE BARGE OFFLOADING FACILITY American Electric Power – New Haven, West Virginia

Total Cost: $8,700,000

Infinity provided all structural, mechanical, and electrical

design engineering of the new limestone barge offloading

facility at American Electric Power’s Mountaineer Station on

the Ohio River in New Haven, WV. Project included the design

of 20 new sheet pile river cells (20’ and 40’ ), barge haul

winch system, Coast Guard approved dock containment

system, and electrical lighting and substation.

The lighting designs included exterior area lighting, lighting for

the dock access walkway, the dock, and each of the (20) sheet

pile cells.

The sheet pile cells were designed to rest on bedrock in the Ohio River. Each cell was filled with limestone for

stabilization and to resist the forces associated with river current and mooring fleets of barges. Additionally, the

tidal range of the river varies by 20’ daily. The concrete dock deck was designed to accommodate loads from an E-

crane and several bulk handling conveyors. The dock is used to offload limestone from barges and to load

synthetic gypsum, the byproduct of emulsified limestone and high-sulfur content coal flue-gas.

CARDINAL LIMESTONE BARGE OFFLOADING FACILITY American Electric Power – Brilliant, Ohio

Total Cost: $9,000,000

Infinity provided all structural, mechanical, and electrical

design engineering of the new limestone barge offloading

facility at American Electric Power’s Cardinal Plant on the

Ohio River in Brilliant, OH.

The berth serves the purpose of receiving and offloading

limestone material barges and receiving and loading gypsum

material barges up to 35’ x 195’. Infinity’s designs included:

Design of 20 new sheet pile river cells

o 30’ upstream T-barge monopile cells

o 18’ upstream and downstream monopile

fleeting cells

o 18’ offloading monopile berth cells

o 40’ E-Crane, loading spout and hopper monopile cells

Vehicular bridge

Fender system to protect the cells

2 ½” D-ring mooring points

Barge haul winch system

Coast Guard approved containment system

Electrical lighting and substation for the offloading/loading platform, river cells, vehicular ramp and dock

operator’s shelter.

Infinity applied for all Corps of Engineers permits.

CLECO RODEMACHER STATION CLECO – Alexandria, Louisiana

Total Cost: $4,600,000

Infinity provided design engineering of the new barge off-loading

facility at CLECO’s Rodemacher Station on the Red River near

Alexandria, LA. Infinity designed the following:

Barge unloading structure with platform work space

A new sheeted pile river monopile cell for crane support

Conveyor and hopper support structure with work space

Barge breasting monopiles along dock.

Drainage piping between all collection points on dock

platforms and sump tanks

Motor control center on dock platform to

deliver power to the barge haul winches and

dock platform lighting

Lighting on all marine platforms, bridges and

walkways.

Area lighting in front of the dock platform to

illuminate docked barges.

Aids-to-navigation lights on the marine

structures as required by U.S. Coast Guard

Developed a water bottom layout for dredging

and providing cross sections for all dredging

required in the vicinity of the barge dock and fleeting area.

Coast Guard approved containment system

Infinity applied for all Corps of Engineers permits.

DOCK 8 PRODUCT LOADING/OFFLOADING DOCK AND HOSE-HANDLING

TOWER IMTT – St. Rose, Louisiana

Total Cost: $2,500,000

Infinity provided conceptual and detailed design of a product

loading/off-loading dock and hose-handling tower at IMTT’s Dock #8.

The steel and concrete dock was designed to expand the crude and

methanol manifold with (15) additional loading spots. The dock

included all necessary containment features as required by Coast

Guard regulations. The hose tower structures and stair access provided the necessary hose storage slots for the

additional hoses and OSHA-approved access/egress. The dock and hose tower were designed for accommodating

ships and barges using the hose tower crane. A total of 8,000 linear feet of 16” piping from the storage tanks to

the dock were designed for this project.

BIO-DIESEL PLANT IMTT – St. Rose, Louisiana

Total Cost: $25,000,000

Infinity provided conceptual and detailed design for equipment required

for IMTT’s terminal facility to operate the new bio-diesel plant. Designs

include dock and land-based loading/offloading manifolds, pumps,

heated storage tanks, approximately 10,000 linear feet of new pipe

lines, pipe rack, tank foundations and pump pits to supply raw products

and ship finished products and by-products to several docks, truck and

rail loading locations. The dock piping design included all necessary

containment features required by Coast Guard regulations. Infinity also

provided electrical and instrumentation to support the installation.

NEW RAIL STEAM CONDENSATE RETURN SYSTEM IMTT – St. Rose, Louisiana

Total Cost: $1,100,000

Infinity provided all designs and construction

management related to the new steam condensate

return system. The design included 5,000 linear feet of

4” insulated piping, high temperature pumps at loading

stations, 1,000 gallon holding tanks, transfer pumps,

electrical power, controls and instrumentation.

Infinity also provided construction management, acting

as the owner’s representative to the contractor. The

project has allowed IMTT to reduce the cost of

operation by using less make-up water and by pre-

heating make-up water with recycled water.

FLARE FOUNDATION DESIGN Kinder Morgan – Harvey, Louisiana

Infinity provided engineering designs, construction drawings in AutoCAD and technical specifications for a new

flare stack and foundation. Infinity assisted Kinder Morgan with the review of bid proposals and with any

technical matters in support of our engineering designs and drawings during the course of construction.

DELTA TERMINAL PIPE RACK ANALYSIS Kinder Morgan – Harvey, Louisiana

Infinity investigated the capacity of an existing pipe rack at the Delta Terminal. The pipe rack supported several

levels of piping that were used to transmit liquid products through the terminal. Kinder Morgan wished to add

new pipint o the existing rack and requested an engineering evaluation to determine the capacity and whether it

was feasible to add piping to the existing racks. Infinity performed an evaluation and produced a report with

recommendations for Kinder Morgan’s pipe rack additions.

BOILER BUILDING Kinder Morgan – Harvey, Louisiana

Infinity provided the structural foundation and framing and mechanical and electrical engineering services for the

design of a 3,500 ft2 metal building for Kinder Morgan. The building houses the chemical facility's boiler which

supplies steam to heat storage tanks. Mechanical engineering design included providing the building ventilation

and boiler combustion air supply and exhaust. Structural design included the foundation and building frame to

accommodate hurricane forces. Electrical design included power and interior and exterior lighting.

NEW GEISMAR DOCK FACILITY CONCEPTUAL STUDY Kinder Morgan – Geismar, Louisiana

Infinity provided a preliminary cost estimate and conceptual layouts for the mechanical, structural, and electrical

engineering designs and construction of a new ship and barge dock on the Mississippi River in Geismar. The cost

estimate and layouts included plans for (2) barge slips for barges up to 330’ x 74’; docking vessels up to 1,000’ in

length; (6) product lines; a vapor return line; piping manifolds and containment area; carnage required for hose

handling; 2,500 gpm diesel driven fire pump; pipe rack and walkway; pipe bridge; lighting and power; and small

dock house.

TRUCK RACK INSPECTION Kinder Morgan – Delta Terminal

Infinity performed a structural inspection of the Delta Terminal truck rack after a fire erupted as a tanker truck

was being loaded with Ethanol. Infinity’s inspection assessed the condition of the structure along with

recommendations regarding the return of the structure to normal use.

DELTA TERMINALS DOCK NO. 1 Kinder Morgan – Harvey, Louisiana

Infinity provided the designs for dock reinforcement and product containment at the existing facility. The project

included the development of schematic structural design concepts and cost estimates for the new deck of the

dock; new substructure framing and bracing for the dock; new walkway from shore; supplemental pipe rack

supports and repairs; new containment for the crane platform; supplemental bracing for the crane platform; and

new support for a dock operator’s shelter.

MARRERO EFFLUENT Chevron Texaco – Marrero, LA

Infinity provided the design evaluation and operational permitting for the processing, sewerage and storm water

lift station and force main modifications for a petroleum processing marine terminal in Marrero, LA.

ARABI OFFLOADING CRANE Port Ship Service – Arabi, LA

Infinity provided design engineering of the new offloading crane to be installed at Port Ship Service’s Arabi

terminal on the Mississippi River. Project included modifications to an existing dock platform to receive a 60 ton

hydraulic crane used to load and ship supplies.

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER & COMMUNICATIONS TOWER Washington Parish Communications District – Franklinton, LA

Infinity provided structural, mechanical, and electrical

engineering and related construction administration for

the 400’ tower and Emergency Operations Center. Infinity

is providing Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection,

Electrical, and Structural engineering and related

construction administration for the 5,000 sq ft steel and

pre-cast concrete building including the design of steel

framing, pre-cast wall system, and foundation.

The tower foundation design included concrete matt

foundation combined with mass concrete guy wire tie

down foundations and was designed to meet the

International Building Code, exceeding the LA Uniform

Construction Code.

Mechanical plans included design for a split air conditioning system for the office area, and independent air

conditioning and fresh air system for the Emergency Dispatch room, as well as specialized computer room air

conditioning systems for the emergency communications equipment room. The plumbing system design included

toilet rooms and break room. The fire protection design included a fire water storage and pumping system for the

office areas of the building and dry agent chemical fire protection for the Emergency Dispatch and equipment

rooms.

Electrical design also included normal utility power at 480Y/277 VAC, 3 phase, 4 wire system 400 Amperes, 400

Ampere automatic transfer switch (ATS), 60 kW, 480/277 VAC, diesel power generator and 50kW uninterruptable

power supply (UPS) for instantaneous supply of the radio, communications, data and other critical equipment at

the facility. Designs also included SCADA systems to monitor normal, emergency generator, and uninterruptable

power.

WESTBANK EMERGENCY OPERATION CENTER TOWER Jefferson Parish Emergency Management – Jefferson Parish, LA

Infinity provided design and construction

administration services required to complete the

installation of a 300 foot self-supporting

communications tower meeting TIA-222-G

standards, standards and new electrical room,

designed to meet the International Building Code,

exceeding the LA Uniform Construction Code. The

design includes deep foundation (including 80 LF

concrete piles), 600 SF equipment building including a UPS backup battery system (40

kVA), generator (150kW), dry agent sprinkler system, all electrical systems (400 Amp

service) and room for future expansion in the equipment building and on the

communications tower.

VIOLET COMMUNICATIONS TOWER St. Bernard Port Harbor and Terminal District – Violet, LA

Infinity provided the fast track design of the 140' self-supporting Violet Communications Tower that will serve to

hold microwave dishes to link from the St. Bernard Port Harbor and Terminal District's Violet terminal to the main

office in Chalmette. Designs included plans and specifications for the tower structure and its foundations. The

foundation consists of (12) 14" square, 78' long prestressed concrete piles driven plum and incased in a triangular

pile cap to support the new tower. Designs also included electrical design for grounding.

LIVINGSTON PARISH COMMUNICATIONS TOWER Livingston Parish Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness – Livingston Parish, LA

Infinity is the prime engineer for the design of a 715' guy wire tower, foundation, communications equipment

building, grid power and backup power, as well as associated FCC licensing and FAA studies. The designs include a

deep foundation for the tower and elevated equipment building, deadman anchor foundation for anchor points,

site grading, cable tray system, communications equipment (400 MH) and startup coordination.

The scope of this project is to consolidate many of the various municipal communications within the parish into

one central location, including police, fire, EOC, council, etc.

The communications building will hold combiners, multi-coupler system, telephone integration systems, UHF

repeaters, HAM system, microwave systems, and LWIN (statewide Louisiana Wireless Information Network)

Trunking.

Infinity evaluated 28 agency systems as possible candidates for relocation to the new tower. It has been

determined that the tower will house the following: Office of Emergency Preparedness, Livingston Parish Fire

Dispatch, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Fire Departments #4 & #7, Livingston Parish Council, LWIN Trunking

System, and St. Tammany Parish and Baton Rouge Microwave Link.

Infinity also performed a study, querying the FCC, to determine permitted distances vs. theoretical distances for

equipment to be located on the tower. FCC licensing and FAA studies were included in Infinity’s services.

CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT WATERLINE REPLACEMENT Sewerage & Water Board – New Orleans, LA

The project includes replacement of waterlines damaged as a result of Hurricane

Katrina. The design included the routing of a temporary water lines, trenching,

bedding, placement of the new waterline and required pavement repairs. Valves

and house connections within the segment will also be replaced. Fire hydrants

along the segment will be reconnected and/or relocated. Sewer repairs will be

required as needed during construction.

The placement of the new line took into consideration the location of existing

utilities or structures which would not be relocated. The new waterlines would

also penetrate existing box drain systems (some nearly 100 years old) and would

require jack and bore beneath existing street car lines. The location of the lines

also take into consideration the need to allow traffic operations to continue as

most work would take place during business hours. Certain locations will only allow work to take place during the

middle of the night when traffic is minimal. The design also included large valve pits for 30” water valves; the pit

was approximately 18x15’. Construction includes field modifications, responding to requests for information (RFI),

reviewing shop drawings, reviewing submittals, verification of quantities, coordination with the Sewerage &

Water Board and DPW.

ANGELA STREET WATERLINE REPLACEMENT St. Bernard Parish, LA

The Angela Street waterline replacement consists of approximately 3,500 linear feet of new 8” PVC C900

waterline installation along Angela St. from N. Peters St. to St. Claude Ave. and 1,000 linear feet of new 8” PVC

C900 waterline installation, 600 linear feet of new 4” PVC C900 waterline installation and 2,100 linear feet of new

2” PVC C900 waterline installation along portions of the cross streets. The new 8” PVC C900 waterline will replace

the existing 6” waterline, which will be abandoned. The new waterline placement is anticipated to be within the

limits of the 18’ wide concrete street on Angela St.

KOSTMAYER AVENUE MILL & OVERLAY City of Slidell – Slidell, LA

This project provided roadway repair and replacement design and all

utility improvements for the Kostmayer Avenue rehabilitation project

in the City of Slidell. The project included the asphalt mill and overlay

of 3,300 linear feet of street, including striping, drainage

improvements, street alignment and handicap sidewalk ramps.

The design and construction of this project was carefully scheduled to avoid interfering with activities of a major

school on the stretch of repair.

BANNERWOOD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS Jefferson Parish Drainage Department – Gretna, LA

Infinity provided engineering design and drainage improvement for

the 3 quarter square mile neighborhood located in Jefferson Parish.

Bannerwood Subdivision Drainage Improvements consisted of

upgrading subsurface drainage on four (4) outfalls from the

Bannerwood Subdivision to the Oakwood Canal, and improvements

to subsurface drainage along Willowbrook Drive, all in accordance

with the Jefferson Parish Subsurface Drainage Improvement

Program prepared by Parish Engineers. The upgrading included

miscellaneous improvements to lateral drainage connections and

replacement of disturbed street, driveways, sidewalks, and utilities.

WEDMORE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS Jefferson Parish Drainage Department – Marrero, LA

The project consists of the design for drainage improvement to prevent

localized flooding in Jefferson Parish funded by the Community Development

Block Grant Program. The improvements consist of upgrading subsurface

drainage on four (4) out-falls of the drainage system in Wedmore Subdivision.

The upgrade will include miscellaneous improvements to lateral drainage

connections and replacement of disturbed portions of street, curbing,

driveways, and sidewalks.

OLLIE DRAINAGE PUMPING STATION EXPANSION Plaquemines Parish Government – Jesuit Bend, LA

Infinity prepared a drainage study of the Ollie drainage basin, which

identified a 50% shortage in capacity, and developed designs and

specifications for the upgrade and expansion of the Ollie Pumping

Station. The upgrade and expansion included:

permit drawings as required to apply for a U.S. Army Corps

of Engineers Section 10/404 permit

pump building foundation and framing

discharge piping supports, modification and replacement of

the retaining walls to connect to the existing levee (steel

sheet pile, concrete at building)

excavation and re-grading of the suction and discharge basin

new access roads and (3) bridges

compressor selection and specification, utility piping, fuel tank specification and design of fuel delivery

CUTTY SARK AND TITANIC LIFT STATION Jefferson Parish Government, Louisiana

Infinity provided the structural and electrical designs for the duplex lift stations. The structural designs included

the foundation and top slabs for the fiberglass wetwell and valve pit. The electrical designs included control

systems upgrades, electrical service and new SCADA system for the duplex pump control system, as well as new

system grounding.

BURAS SEWER LIFT STATION Plaquemines Parish Government – Buras, LA

Plaquemines Parish requested a damage assessment and repair design for

(40) sewage lift stations damaged by flooding from Hurricanes Katrina and

Rita. This project was FEMA funded. Damage to the stations required the

replacement of electrical components and mechanical equipment. Infinity

prepared plans and specifications for detailed design of:

Coordination with Plaquemines Parish operations and FEMA

personnel for strategic planning of repairs operations, including

hazard mitigation techniques;

Replacement of all submersible pumps, valves, piping, and

controls;

Replacement of all self-primer pumps and motors, valves, piping, and controls;

Replacement of damaged steel wet wells with fiberglass units for hazard mitigation;

Design of control panels for motor-operated equipment;

Design of all electrical conduits and wiring, including replacement of new service;

Complete design of structural steel, galvanized platforms to elevate electrical components above the

ABFE for hazard mitigation;

New 3-strand barb wire security fencing layout and gates to accommodate platforms.

EAST BANK SEWER LIFT STATIONS Plaquemines Parish Government – Plaquemines Parish, LA
