Bagian IGeneral Information


PT Biro Klasifikas Indonesia (Persero) disingkat BKI didirikan pada tanggal 1 Juli 1964 yang merupakan satu-satunya

badan klasifikasi nasional yang ditugaskan oleh pemerintah Republik Indonesia sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri

Perhubungan Laut No. th.1/17/2 tanggal 26 September 1964 tentang Peraturan Pelaksana Kewajiban Kapal-kapal

berbendera Indonesia untuk memiliki serfifikasi klasifikasi kapal yang dikeluarkan oleh Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia.

Kegiatan klasifikasi itu sendiri merupakan kegiatan penggolongan kapal berdasarkan konstruksi lambung, mesin dan

listrik kapal dengan tujuan memberikan salah satu penilaian atas laik laut kapal tersebut untuk berlayar.

registrasi kapal dan konstruksi lepas pantai.

Dalam meningkatan pelayanan jasa dan percepatan proses reporting, BKI telah mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen dengan mengembangkan beberapa aplikasi baik untuk perkantoran maupun aplikasi perhitungan teknik. Desain pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi terilustrasi dalam diagram berikut:

In improving the services and acceleration of report processing, BKI has developed Management Information System by developing some applications both for offices and also for technical calculation. The design of Information Technology applications illustrated on diagram as follows:


Visi dalam pengembangan teknologi informasi ini adalah mengurangi pekerjaan dengan menggunakan kertas, informasi yang disajikan selalu terkini, integrasi data antara kantor pusat dan kantor cabang, memberikan akses informasi yang akurat kepada pelanggan melalui website BKI. Seluruh aplikasi COpS, CSOpS, PersoSys, FinOpS, EFS dan Website BKI sepenuhnya dikembangkan sendiri oleh ahli-ahli teknologi informasi yang dimiliki BKI.

Vision of the Information Technology development are to reduce paperwork to be paperless work, up to date information based on real time process, data integrity between head office and branch office and accessability to BKI’s Customer to get accuracy information via BKI’s website. All of BKI’s applications (COpS, CSOpS, PersoSys, FinOp, EFS and Website) are fully developed by BKI’s IT expert.
