    WHAT IS IT?

    the process oftransferring

    Verbal communication:

    it is so called verbalcommunication when two or

    more people talk or use audio

    as a medium to exchangethoughts or intentions.

    Non- verbal communication: the documents shared in

    offices are writtencommunication. i.e.

    written words/symbolsthat are understood by

    the receiver of themessage as it says exactlywhat the sender wanted

    to express.

    TWO TYPES OF EMAIL: Client-based email

    is often used by business

    users-involves the emailbeing downloaded froma server to an application (e.g.Mozilla) on the userscomputer.

    Webmail

    is accessed through a web

    browser and can be accessedfrom any computer withan Internet connection.

    HOW TO EMAIL?Sending email

    1. Open a browser,enter thewebmail address, e.g.http://www .gmail.com and login.

    2. Click 'New' or 'Compose'.3. Enter the recipient's email

    addresses in the 'To' field.4. Write a suitable subject in the

    'Subject' field.5. Write the message in the

    space below the Subject field.6. Click 'Send' to send the email.
