DISTINCTIONS
CIE is fully supported by fees collected from licensed institutions (no General Revenue)
Licensed institutions receive no state subsidy
Independent institutions respond quickly to business and industry training needs

Over 900 licensed institutions 369 degree institutions (88% accredited) 552 non-degree schools (26% accredited)
Current enrollment of over 350,000 students
Approximately 8,000 licensed programs
Over 140 institutions participate in Workforce Development as training providers
