Cliff Kendel, Atlanta, Georgia

Cliff has over thirty years of experience in public accounting; commercial real estate and corporate finance; mergers & acquisitions and investment sales; investments real estate development and operations. His career includes five years as CFO for a boutique regional commercial real estate, hospitality and health care developer; fifteen years in acquisitions, development and asset management for several preeminent national and international investors; and twelve years running a boutique financial advisory firm. Cliff is a strategic problem solver and innovator when addressing operations, finance, marketing and funding challenges.

Peter G. Moore, Portland, Maine

Peter ‘s career spans over 35 years of business experience including 18 years as a corporate banker involving positions with Chemical Bank, New York (now part of J.P. Morgan Chase), several predecessors of Bank of America , the last as a Senior Vice President-Commercial Banking of Fleet Bank. Entrepreneurial finance, middle market real estate and corporate funding assignments, and business growth strategies has been Peter’s primary focus for the last 17 years. This includes extensive experience working with institutional and private capital sources, structuring financing and building long lasting relationships for clients and capital providers alike. Prior to joining Corporate Finance Associate Peter was the founder and managing partner of a commercial mortgage banking company serving a national client base. Peter has closed over a billion dollars in commercial real estate transactions with properties of almost every kind. Peter remains active in commercial real estate, corporate finance, and M&A advisory engagements. Peter holds the Series 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses.

David B. Sinyard, Atlanta, Georgia

David is a Managing Director in the CFA Atlanta office. He has over 25 years experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investments, operations and commercial real estate finance. His career includes four years with a boutique investment bank, seven years as CFO and COO of two private equity start-ups, and seven years with Holiday Inn Worldwide where he was SVP Corporate Finance and Development & Treasurer. During his tenure there he divested the Canadian franchisee, Commonwealth Hospitality Ltd. and the Company owned real estate portfolio. He also was president of the captive finance company and was responsible for the real estate portfolio. David earned a BA, a law degree and an MBA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He also holds Series 7, 24, 28, 63 and 79 licenses and has been a Georgia Real Estate Broker since 1987.

Peter B. Ventre, CPA, CFA, Portland, Maine

Peter is a seasoned finance professional with 28 years of expertise in corporate finance, accounting, and operational management. He is a persuasive and collaborative leader, acknowledged for his proven interpersonal and team building skills. Peter’s clients value his strong analytical and critical strategic thinking abilities. Peter joined CFA in 2004, three years after successfully launching his own corporate finance advisory firm with CFA Portland Managing Director Peter Moore. In 2001, Peter transitioned to a transactional role after a successful corporate finance career. Since 2001 Peter’s professional focus has been on structuring corporate and commercial real estate financing transactions in a variety of industries. Peter brings creativity and tenacity to every client he serves, seeking to secure the highest value and complete satisfaction in every engagement. Peter is a licensed real estate broker and holds the Series 7, 24, 28, and 63 securities licenses.
