2019 Dates 2020 Dates(Archery hunts begin on the first afternoon and end after the last morning)
Archery hunts…We welcome bow hunters! As experienced bow hunters ourselves, we understand the conditions necessary for close range stalking and a successful hunt. Because of the size of the area, and the fact the we limit the number of hunters, our area is not overhunted. In short, we can help you experience this ultimate challenge.
Combo hunts…Combo hunts offer the guest an opportunity to hunt a deer (either whitetail or mule deer) and to also hunt an antelope if the license is drawn.
What to bring…Bow and all accessories, extra arrows, sharp broadheads (Expandables not recommended for elk), safety strap, dress for the weather, camera, binoculars, range finder, picture ID, along with all licensing, sleeping bag, towels, personal meds, cash for guide and cooking tips
We adhere to the principles of “Fair chase,” but within these bounds every effort is made to obtain the very best trophy available.

Deposits are refundable if written notice is received before March 1 of the year the hunt takes place. If notification is received after that the deposit is not refundable or transferable. The balance is payable on arrival at camp. Please make final payment in cash, travelers checks, or money orders.
Licenses/Season…Montana has a liberal game season. All booked clients need to obtain license applications. You can obtain these at:
Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks,1420 E. 6th Ave., Helena, Montana 59620.
Phone (406) 444-2950. Website: www.fwp.mt.govNon–resident hunters must apply for their deer licenses before the March 15th deadline. The non-resident hunter that books a hunt will apply for the deer combo (deer, fishing, bird) tag. These tags are on a draw basis.Non-resident hunters also have the option of applying for a deer/elk combo tag if they have made prior arrangements to hunt elk with us. The deadline for antelope permit is June 1 and deadline for elk permit is March 15.
Facilities…Our camp is rustic, but comfortable. We furnish all the equipment, except personal effects, necessary to make your hunt successful and enjoyable. Our cabins and trailers are heated, with electric lights, showers, and comfortable mattresses. Meals are prepared by a cook, and served family style. We furnish wholesome food and plenty of it.Our camp is readily accessible. Commercial flights are available to Rapid City, SD, Billings, MT or Gillette, WY. Rental cars are also available to complete your trip.We care for your meat, trophy horns and capes as if they were our own. The client covers the cost of freight, taxidermy, and meat processing.
What to bring…Scoped rifle (Any mid-caliber you shoot well), ammo, gun case, binoculars, knife, picture ID and all licensing, camera, sleeping bags, towels, personal meds, cash forguide and cook tips (optional).
Our hunting area…We own or have leased access to several hundred square miles of prime hunting. Rolling hills are cut by brushy draws and meandering creeks. The highest ridges are covered by pines, but are readily accessible in a 4x4 vehicle. These large ranches provided big game habitat and our guests can experience a guided hunt with an amazing amount of game animals.Temperatures during the early rifle season will range from a high of 60 to a low of 25. Early in November, we can expect snow and colder weather. While you plan for the fall weather, it is always wise to be prepared for colder weather.Archery hunters in September should expect warmer temperatures of 80’s with nights around 50’s. Eastern Montana weather can be extreme (both hot and cold) be prepared.
Our hunting area consists primarily of private land with a blend of state and
federal lands.
Non-resident licensing in Montana requires timely applications for proper species and areas. We recommend the e-licensing system. All booked hunters will receive detailed information on licensing.
Our Pledge…To hunt Montana remains a truly great hunting experience. As your outfitter and guide, I make every effort to assure you the hunting experience of a lifetime. We personally guide each adventure to ensure a successful and memorable trip. Many of our clients are repeat guests and their satisfaction is our best advertisement. In thirty years of outfitting, our hunters’ success has been our greatest source of pride and we will gladly provide references.
