ACTIVITIES DETAILS

1.- MANCHAYWAYCCO-COLLPAPAMPA (STAGE 4).

This activity will be offered every afternoon at Collpapampa lodge after the pachamanca lunch.

A beautiful descent through a dirt road from Manchaywayco to Chalway admiring astonishing views of Manchaywayco valley and the surrounding valleys. You will then go downwards a tranquil road to Collpapampa.

Level: Easy

Activity duration: 3 hrs. Aprox.

Itinerary:

14:15 departure Collpa lodge. Bike guide leads the group to the van waiting for us at Chalway town

14:45 Departure to Manchaywaycco valley

15:30 arrive to starting point

16:00 start of the bike ride

17:15 arrive to Chalway town and zip line to the Collpa lodge.

17:30 Arrive to the lodge

2.- YANAMA PASS-HORNOPAMPA-LLUSKAMAYO

This is an optional activity offered in the day 5 of the adventure. These activities replace the trekking activity.

Options

2a.- Downhill from Yanama Pass to Lluscamayo (lunch site)

Departure from the lodge after an early breakfast to head through a dirt road to the Yanama pass, this is an amazing scenic drive along the Yanama valley, appreciating breathtaking views of the surrounding snow caped mountains and rugged terrain, following a trail all the way down crossing along little villages as Hornopampa

Level: easy to moderate

Duration: 5 hrs. Aprox.

Note: For more experienced riders we can offer a single track down hill

Itinerary:

6:00 departure from Collpa Lodge. The bike guide will wait for you and take you to the van heading to Yanama Pass.

6:30 departure to Yanama pass.

7:40 arrival to Yanama pass

2b.-Descent from Hornopampa to Lluscamayo

This is shorter and easier version of the 2a option.

This is a perfect activity for families and teenagers. You will do a descent route following a dirt road while contemplating snow caped and rugged mountains through a pristine valley.

Level: Easy

Duration: 3,5 hrs. Aprox.

Itinerary:

7:45 departure from Collpa Lodge. The bike guide will wait for you and take you to the van heading to Yanama Pass.

8:00 head to Hornopampa

8:45 arrive at Hornopampa

9:00 the ride starts

11:00 arrive to Lluskamayo

12:00 – 13:30 Lunch

Note: All the bikes have been tested and are ideal for this type of terrain. You will be provided with gloves and helmets which their uses are mandatory. It is required to have basic experience riding a bike.
