17:00 Farewell Party

Conference DinnerWednesday, 10. January 2018

Join the traditional conference dinner at Osterfeldhalle above the Neckar valley and Esslingen.Relax, socialize and enjoy our Swabian buffet, regional wine and music. Reconnect with old friends while making new ones.Busses will take you from the Aca-demy to the conference location in Esslingen-Berkheim and back to

your hotel or the Academy. Please mind: A seperate registration is required. The fee is 65 EUR (plus V.A.T.). The event is at your own risk.

On our way to the dinner location, we will have the opportunity to visit Festo AG, a world-wide lead-ing company for industrial control and automation based in Esslin-gen-Berkheim. Learn more about Festos fascinating activities in the bionics field and watch one of the impressing bionic objects in action.

Our special guest at the conference dinner is Dr. Boris Nikolai Konrad, brain researcher and memory trainer. His performance is a thrilling mixture of entertainment, show and memory training. He will show you how easy it is to take your memory to maximum efficiency.Germany’s „Superbrain“ shows you how fascinating and enjoyable lear-ning can be. Learn about the latest findings in neuroscience in an amu-

sing and colourful manner and see how technique changes our thinking.

Plant Tour to Daimler SindelfingenFriday, 12 January 20189:00 am to 1:00 pm

On Friday morning you have the opportunity to visit Daimler AG‘s largest car production plant in the world. The tour offers a detailed insight into the fascinating world of vehicle manufacture: starting at the press shop, past the ballet dancing of the robots at the body shop, to the marriage of the vehicle body and power- train in the assembly areas. In the logistics „super- market“ you can see how vehicle parts are lined up ready to be transported to the assembly lines.

A bus shuttle will take us from TAE to Sindelfingen and back. The tour is about 2 hours.

You have to register separately for the plant tour. The fee is 40 EUR (free of V.A.T.).
