(it is not possible to homologate a helmet under 2205 homologation anymore)

July 2023Helmet manufacturers can’t produce 2205 helmets anymore

January 2024Selling 2205 helmets is forbidden (except if a specific country decides to keep

2205 valid)


2206 is a reinforced testing protocol over :

- Impact Test (linear)

- Chinbar impact test (S Point)

- Lateral test (rotational acceleration)

- Full Face / Jet double homologation

- Visors

- Sunvisors
