PAC33 proposals
11 (of 13) proposals submitted to CC
Collaboration status approved for all 11 submitted proposals
My personal thanks to Pete Markowitz, who organized the proposal review and saved my vacation
Status of Publications (good, bad, and ugly)
Several high-impact, top-cited publications from the Hall A physics program
Many experiments have results beyond initial publications, but have not published these results Want to see annual report contributions until all
of the main physics results of the proposals are published
Hall A Annual Report
Editing in progress: Bryan Moffit, Pete Markowitz, Kees de Jager
Still missing 2-3 contributions Hope to finish editing by the end of the year Next year
Formalize smaller technical reports New requirement
Updates from experiments that have published first results, but are still analyzing primary physics results
Brief reports on analyses expected for archival papers
Analysis Workshop (yesterday) Summary tomorrow A few general issues
Limited communication on analysis issues Initial ideas to improve things
Physics AND analysis updates at Collab. Meeting General analysis logbook (not experiment specific) Update some web resources
Hall A Collaboration Charter
Some procedures have not always been consistently followed Requirements for proposal review Replacement of CC members
Are there other small updates we should make, as long as we’re cleaning up these issues?
What about 12 GeV? More very-large scale experiments Do we need/want any changes in the Collaboration structure?
Please send suggestions/comments to CC
