Writing appears in the bottom left or right corners of the screen to introduce new people and their roles. This is typical of most interviews. Chromakey is used as a backdrop for the interview, this reinforces the topic.

Typical interview shot types are used. Close up, medium close up and mid shots. The interview is shot following the rule of thirds, in which the interviewee is sat in the opposite third of the screen to the camera. Use of a second camera is also present to get a different shot type.

Typical interview set up is used, following the rule of thirds, the interviewee is in the left third of the screen while the camera is in the right. Alternate shots are used when two people are being interviewed together.

When there are cuts to other interviews, the merge is seamless (there are no jump cuts). The lighting is appropriate, the blinds are closed so that the interviewee is not lit from behind.

Close up, medium close up and mid shots are used as well as chromakey.
