ExCEPTIONAL TOUCH, TONE & VALUEThe CN Series combine KAWAI’s cr itical ly acc laimed Harmonic Imaging™sound technology with the AHA-IV graded-hammer action to establish a newstandard in digital piano value and performance.
Developed to accurately represent the touch of a traditional grand piano,
the redesigned Advanced Hammer Action IV keyboard adopts KAWAI’s
remarkable springless construction for a smoother, more natural, piano
feeling. Just as acoustic pianos utilize heavier bass hammers and lighter
treble hammers, the AHA-IV keyboard also employs different hammer
weights, appropriately graded for each playing range. e innovative
Acoustic Reaction™ technology provides greater stability during fortis-
simo passages, while preserving delicate pianissimo control satisfying the
demands of even the most discerning pianist.
ADVANCED HAMMER ACTION IV HARMONIC IMAGING™TECHNOLOGY
e authentic sound of KAWAI digital pianos begins with the world
renowned KAWAI Ex Concert grand piano. Placed inside an anechoic
chamber, free of audio reflections, the rich sound of this world class
instrument is meticulously analyzed and recorded by our Master
Piano Artisans and sound engineers. e acoustic portrait of each note
is later transformed into a precise three dimensional digital
representation, employing KAWAI’s proprietary Harmonic Imaging™
technology. is unique process faithfully reproduces the broad dynamic
range of the original grand piano, from subtle pianissimos to thunderous
fortissimos.

appeal of the instrument not only contributes to a room’s decor, but also
enhances the aesthetic appeal of playing and listening to the instrument.
Considerable attention to detail is given to the cabinetry and finish of
the CN Series instruments. Borrowing traditional design elements from
more expensive digital and acoustic piano models, the CN Series
provides a touch of elegance for player and listener alike.
An intuitive 2-track recorder is featured as standard across the CN
Series range, with the flagship CN41 model capable of storing an
impressive 30,000 notes in each of the three internal song memories. In
addition, the introduction of USB to Device functionality allows
