Disclaimer

Neither futures trading nor swaps trading are suitable for all investors, and each involves the risk of loss. Swaps trading shouldonly be undertaken by investors who are Eligible Contract Participants (ECPs) within the meaning of Section 1a(18) of theCommodity Exchange Act. Futures and swaps each are leveraged investments and, because only a percentage of a contract’svalue is required to trade, it is possible to lose more than the amount of money deposited for either a futures or swapsposition. Therefore, traders should only use funds that they can afford to lose without affecting their lifestyles and only aportion of those funds should be devoted to any one trade because traders cannot expect to profit on every trade. Allexamples discussed are hypothetical situations, used for explanation purposes only, and should not be considered investmentadvice or the results of actual market experience.

Migrating FirmSoft EntitlementsThe following instructions describe the process to migrate FirmSoft entitlements from Clearing Firm Registered entities to Non-Clearing Firm Registered Entities.

A. The process begins with CME Group granting FirmSoft entitlements to Front Office AdminManagers (FOAM); at Clear-ing Firm Registered Entities.

B. Clearing Firm Registered Entity Admin Managers can use CME Customer Center - User Administration to grant AdminManager entitlements to additional users, including users atNon-Clearing Firm Registered Entities.

C. After adding entitlements for Non-Clearing Firm Admin Managers, responsibility for FirmSoft administration can bemigrated to Non-Clearing Firm Registered Entity Admin Managers for a given Globex Firm ID (GFID).

Clearing and Non-Clearing Registered Entities will retain the ability to manage FirmSoft users (in User Administration),therefore, CME Group recommends the following:a. Clearing firm and non-clearing firm Registered Entities should decide who will manage entitlements for non-clear-

ing Registered Entity users.

l The clearing firm Registered Entity manages entitlements for all users for the GFID that it clears. This includesboth its own employees and the employees of the non-clearing firm Registered Entity; or

l The clearing firm Registered Entity continues to manage entitlements for its own employees for the GFID that itclears but the non-clearing firm Registered Entity manages entitlements for its employees independently fromthose managed by the clearing firm.

c. If the clearing firm chooses to no longer manage entitlements of non-clearing firm Registered Entity users (option1b), it is recommended that the clearing firm first generate a user report (instructions below) to capture the exist-ing FirmSoft entitlements for the non-clearing firm Registered Entity’s users.

d. A Front Office Admin Manager of the non-clearing firm Registered Entity will then manually re-entitle users viaUser Administration.

e. It is recommended the clearing firm remove entitlements once the non-clearing firm Registered Entity has con-firmed users have been added to User Administration. Once the users have been entitled by the non-clearing firmRegistered Entity via User Administration it is recommended the clearing firm remove entitlements from thosesame users from their own instance of User Administration so as not to have any duplication of entitlements for thesame GFID.
