Dear colleague, We take great pleasure in organizing a one-day CME on Trauma in collaboration with Indian Association of Traumatology and Critical Care, a premier body promoting modern principles in trauma care. Worldwide trauma is one of the leading causes of mortality and morbidity. Timely and appropriate intervention can ensure good patient outcome, which is the focus of “NE-TRACME-2016”. The faculty comprises of leading names, nationally as well as locally, in trauma training and management. Shillong is a beautiful town nestled in the Khasi hills and boasts of a moderate climate throughout the year. In July one can experience the monsoons drenching the Khasi Hills and replenishing the myriad waterfalls, indeed a treat to the parched eyes. NEIGRIHMS is a premier central institute with state of the art equipment and faculty, and has already emerged as a hub for “Medical Tourism” catering to the whole Northeast and neighboring countries. The “trauma experience” apart; soothe your body and soul; explore enchanting Meghalaya, the “abode of clouds”. The organizing committee is eagerly looking forward to welcoming you to NE-TRACME: 2016.
