PLEASE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS BEFORE USE. Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death! Retain these instructions for future reference.

This equipment is for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY BY TRAINED PERSONNEL. Working in trees or in an elevated position is an extremely hazardous activity. Proper training and utilizing the safest practices is critical for your safety. This positioning harness is only a component of your safety management system. It is intended for work positioning only. This product is NOT intended for fall arrest.

Before every use of this product you must:• Inspect the product for defects and wear.• Usethisproductonlyforitsspecifieduse.• Be physically and mentally competent to use this product.

Retire this product after a MAXIMUM of twenty-four months from the date of firstuse.ReplacethebridgeafteraMAXIMUMofsixmonthsfromthedateoffirstuse.Replacement of the rope bridge does not extend the service life of the work positioning saddle.Therearevariousfactorsthataffectthelifeofthisproductincluding,butnotlimited to: • frequency of use, • exposure to elements and extreme weather• exposure to sources of heat• exposure to chemicals and chemical vapors• exposure to moisture• storage methods and practices• operating environment

Extensive use may reduce the life of this product to less than ninety days. Frequent inspection of this product is essential for user safety.

Retire this product if any labels have been removed or are missing. Retire saddle from use in case of any shock loading or impact load, as these can cause damage that is not apparent. Retire saddle if there are any signs of rust or corrosion on the metal parts of the saddle.

Retire saddle if there are signs of rips, tears, cracks, fraying, damage or unravelling of the stitching, damaged or missing rivets to the webbing or fabric.

This product is intended for personal use. Do not alter or modify this product. Do not attempt to repair this product; repairs to this product can only be made by the manufacturer.

Use and store this product in a cool, dry, place; away from exposure to moisture, heat, extreme cold, UV rays (exposure from the sun), corrosive substances or vapors, molds ormildew,oranyotherconditionthatmayadverselyaffectthelifeofthisproduct.

Do not store in an overly compacted manner. Use and store this saddle away from risk of snags, rips, tears, cuts, punctures, abrasion, and damage due to impact. Any saddle exposed to these conditions must be removed from service until a thorough inspection can verify that the saddle is safe to return to service.

Rope bridge is exclusively for the Honey Badger Saddle by Climb Right. This bridge is not recommended for any other use. Never connect rope directly to the rope bridge (no rope on rope contact). Only use the supplied ISC aluminum ring.

USER RESPONSIBILITY: The user is responsible for: using this saddle only for its intended use as a work positioning saddle; deploying an independent fall prevention system; verifying that the saddle is free from defects or wear by inspecting the saddle before each use; possessing the physical and mental requirements to use the saddle safely; ensuring that all components of the work positioning system are compatible with one another; adjustingthesaddleforproperfitofthisequipmentforpersonaluse;replacingthebridgeas required.

Saddle Inspection!PLEASE CHECK:• Allpartsofthesaddletoensurethatitisfitforservice.• Metal parts such as buckles, rings, clips, and snaps for: rust,

corrosion, discoloration, cracks, dents or bends, signs of impact, signs of chemical exposure, signs of heat exposure, and wear.

• Webbing, straps, and belts for: stains, bleaching, discolorations, punctures, tears, rips, snags, fraying, loosened or damaged stitching, loose threads, melting, burn marks, irregular texture (bumps or flatspots),cracking,stretching,signsofabrasion,signsofchemicalexposure,signsofheat exposure, and wear.

• Leg strap adjusters for: cracks, breaks, discoloration, signs of abrasion, signs of heat exposure, signs of chemical exposure, and wear.

• Pads and padding for: rips, tears, fraying, loosened or missing stitching, signs of bleaching or chemical staining, cracks, and loose or missing rivets.

• Buckles, snaps, clips, carabiners, etc. to make sure that openings and gates are unobstructed and free of dirt, dust and grime; and that closures and locking mechanisms are properly functioning. Retire saddle from service, if any mechanisms do not function smoothly.

• Webbingandbeltingmaterialforabnormalpliabilityorabnormalstiffeningofthefabricorfibers.

• Webbing,belting,andpadsforirregulartextures,suchasflattening,stretching,signsofmelting or burns, bumps or lumps.

• The fabric beneath the belt adjusters for wear, tears, snags, or any other abnormalities. Retiresaddlefromserviceifabnormalitiestothefabricorfibersarepresent.

• Rivets and the fabric around the rivets for: loose, damaged or missing rivets, corrosion, rips, cracked or missing washers, and wear. Retire saddle from service if rivets or areas around the rivets are damaged or worn.

If any of the above conditions are present, retire the saddle from service. If the product labels are missing or illegible, retire the saddle from service.

• Whenfinishedusingproduct,giveitaquickinspectiontoensurenodamageoccurred to saddle during use.

• If wet due to moisture after use, store in a cool indoor environment avoiding direct sunlight allowing saddle to dry naturally with no added heat.

• Store in a clean and dry area, away from any sharp object that might cause damage to the saddle.

• Neverstoreindirectsunlightoroutdoorswhereitcanbeaffectedbytheelements.

• Saddle may be cleaned by dabbing and wiping the surface of the webbing with a towel moistened with water (use of detergents or cleaning solutions is not recommended). Use care to not saturate the webbing. Allow saddle to completely air dry in the shade. Do not use heat to dry.

• Never dip saddle completely in water.• Never expose saddle to harsh chemicals or vapors.

Storage & Maintenance

For your safety and com-fort, it is very important to choose the proper sized saddle. The chart on the right shows general guide-lines for most people. Your individual sizing may vary. Generally the best fitisachievedwhenthepositioning “D” rings are located in front of your hip bone, and the belt feels snug but not too tight.

Bridge Knot Instructions

STEP 1: Hold rope allowing about 20” to form a loop with the tail end on top.STEP 2:Curl the tail end of the rope behind the loop from step 1.

STEP 3:Curl the rope back up which forms a second loop that is behind the first one from step 2. Once again, the tail end is on top closest to your hand.

STEP 4:Put the tail end of the rope behind and through the two loops. Pull the ends slowly

Bridge Knot Instructions

STEP 5:While pulling the ends, slide the knot to the desired position. Do not cover the red tip. The knot should look like it has an “X” in it as seen in illustration #5. If it looks like the bottom knot, you must start over. The bottom knot is unsafe and can come undone unexpectedly. If you are unsure if it is correct, please consult a trained professional.
