Some Tier 2 indicators on the interplay of urban area on temperature (heat-island-effect).

● Comprehensive discussion of the issue ‘uncertainty’ of climate data (in-situ, satellites, climate model data and impact model data)

● Gather information about handling of uncertainties of climate data towards:

- different data types

- state of the art methods to assess uncertainties of climate data

At the 1st General Assembly André Jol presented a review of the work of the “Vulnerability and Adaptation” group at the European Environment Agency (EEA).

A two-day workshop was held at the European Environment Agency offices in May, with participation from project partners, EEA staff and guests from ECMWF.

Follow-up meeting being organised for early 2015.
