• To the Students – the purpose of this program is to reinforce and test your understanding of both factors and multiples, two very common terms you will use often in math.

• To the Teacher – your job as facilitator will be to present each slide making sure students understand the directions as well as facilitate any class discussions during the show.

To get started we’re going to do some easier exercises and work our way up.

For the first part of this program you will be asked to list the first 3 factors or

multiples for a given number. Then it’ll get more challenging.

And…you will need to know these symbols for later on:

Let’s try something different. Look at the two numbers below and think of their

multiples. What would be the first lowest multiple they both have in common?
