• Due to green efforts GCU reduced its carbon footprint by 11,222 Metric Ton Carbon Dioxide Equivalent.
• GCU has begun construction of a 7,000 square foot community garden to provide the demonstration of organic vegetable cultivation, and sustainable turf management. The vegetables produced will be donated to needy families through the Catholic Charities network.
• All students received a reusable water bottle and tote in their welcome packages at orientation.
