Classroom 5’s Daily Schedule

Morning Schedule 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Early Arrival in Classroom #2

8:00 a.m. Classroom 5 opens (depending upon

enrollment may be combined with

classroom 4 or 6)

8:00 a.m. – 9:20 a.m. Morning snack and learning center activities

9:20 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Clean up time, toileting and brushing teeth

9:30a.m. – 10:00a.m. Gross motor activities: playground,

neighborhood walks (weather permitting or

the community room.)

10:00a.m. – 10:20a.m. Circle time - pledge of allegiance, music,

movement, language activities & story time.

10:20 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Learning center time (activities include

language and literacy, mathematics, science

and sensory experiences, blocks, dramatic

play, manipulatives, art, and computer)

11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Story time

Afternoon Schedule 11:40 p.m. – 12:15 p.m. Preparation for lunch, including washing

hands.

12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lunch

12:45 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. Clean up, toileting, and brushing teeth

1:10 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Rest time (Children who do not sleep will engage in quiet

activities) 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Clean up: mats away, toileting and snack

time.

3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Learning center time (activities include

language and literacy, mathematics, science

and sensory experiences, blocks, dramatic

play, manipulatives, art, and computer)

3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Gross motor play (outside or inside)

4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Story Time

4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Learning center time

5:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. Clean up and Preparation for transfer to

classroom 1

5:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Transfer to Room 1 for late pick up
