RATIONALE For this class we took into consideration the principals of the Direct Method because it encourages to use of language in a natural way. This is something that we had planned for the entire class; all the activities are focus on the dialogue. Something really relevant about this approach is to avoid of translation. When we were planning and selection an approach, this characteristic caught our attention; we thought that this might be something useful for our Ss because it would make them the ability to stop overthinking about meanings in L1. Correct pronunciation is a principal of Direct method we considered to apply. Teacher will be concentrated on correcting all the possible mistakes in pronunciation and he will make them repeat the word. In other words, the main goal for this class is the communication between Tr-Ss, Ss-Ss, Ss-Tr, in this method the communication is essential. To be effective, educators utilizing role-play must help learners set realistic goals and know when and how to provide feedback to the learners in a way that allows a deepening of skills and a promotion of self-awareness. The challenge is to do this in a manner that does not cause too much anxiety for the learner. We are going to try to make them practice creating an environment in which no one judges mistakes but gives positive feedback for their improvement. In a role-play, students are provided with facts about a situation into which they are then inserted for a brief, simulated interaction. The scenario may be fictional or based on an actual incident.
