What this means for Students

Today, people will be walking around the building, entering classrooms and possibly asking students and teachers questions.

This is all part of being an Accredited High School. Being an Accredited High School is an important credential because it guarantees that a particular high school is teaching its students at a level that is acceptable nationally.

When students acquire diplomas from accredited high schools, they can be assured that colleges will accept it and employers recognize it.

A preview of the possible questions you may be asked by

the accreditation team. STUDENT QUESTIONS

Do you get support when you need it?

Where do you go or what strategies do you use if you are struggling in a particular class?

PAWS? What do you do during PAWS.

Explain the difference between Seminar and Paws.

Our students are telling us that they feel we are not providing instruction in the area of “learning strategies” (test taking, note taking, collaborative learning, time management, general study skills, strategic reading, information retention) How can we improve in this area?
