Take your UFO on a ro-mantic holiday and light the flame again by coming to this class and renewing your vows. The projects need not be from a class you took from me originally, I am fairly well versed in many different techniques and I should be able to help you get back on track with just about any class or project you have. That being said, I’m not a mind reader so it will greatly help if you can bring the original pattern, article or other documentation for your project.

Blocks of the Month (Most Block of the Month kits can be mailed for additional charge per month.)

Baltimore Halloween This Baltimore style quilt from P3 Designs is filled with fun Halloween ghosts, bats, candy and witches made with hand dyed wool and fabric. The quilt is 58” x 58” with 12 blocks surrounding a central block. The 14 month program is $22 per month and available on or after the 28th of the month.

Wall Flower The Wall Flower pattern, by Waltzes with Bears, is no longer available for purchase. We have received permission to use the pattern exclusively as a block of the month. The design is easy enough for a be-ginner, yet appears like a difficult quilt. It combines paper piecing and wool on cotton applique to cre-ate a whimsical, wonky, and charming little quilt. The 12 month program is $18.99 per month and available on or after the 25th of the month.

A Patchwork Year A Patchwork Year blocks are designed by Portland’s own Kathy Schmitz. Each month block center is an adorable seasonal embroidery surrounded by a patchwork border. The fabric is also designed by Kathy from her ‘Patchwork Garden’ fabric by Moda. They are small enough to easily complete within a month, yet large enough to celebrate the spirit of the passing seasons. The 12 month program is $19.95 per month and available on or after the 15th of the month.

Continuing by popular demand: Bertie’s Year 12 Charming projects, 1 little bird. Bertie is up to something special every month. It’s amazing what one little bird can do with Maywood’s Woolies flannel, Gina’s Hand dyed wool, thread and a button or two. Each month you will receive a pat-tern, Woolies flannel and hand dyed wool to complete twelve individual 13” x 17” little Quilts, or you may join them to-gether and make one large quilt. We have opted to feature green borders rather than a variety of colors for those wanting to make a quilt out of these darling designs.

My Favorite Things Originally done by Wisconsin Quilt Shop, Primitive Gatherings, as a Block of the Week. We plan on giving you a bit more time. Each month you will receive your cotton fabric for the back-ground, sashing and border, as well as the wool for the block applique. The outside border is lim-ited only by your creativity. Do it yourself or join JoLyn in designing your own unique border full of your favorite things in a separate class.
