M 9. Recommend approval of 2017-2018 Superintendent Goals as follows:
S GOAL #1: To improve student achievement in English Language Arts (ELA) through
evaluation of the instructional program and curriculum at the City of
Burlington Public Schools K-12.
The 2015 PARCC assessment scores will become the new starting point for
measuring student achievement on State assessments.
OBJECTIVE: To analyze the data provided by the State on the 2017 PARCC to
determine curriculum and instruction adjustments to meet the standards
assessment.
GOAL #2: To improve student achievement in Mathematics through evaluation of the
instructional program and curriculum at the City of Burlington Public Schools
K-12.
