DESCRIPTION
Architecture Masterthesis_Alessandra Schmid_ A disused railway infrastructure lies between the relief of Mount Ciocci and the slopes of Monte Mario, traveling in the open space for the 2 km long narrow Inferno valley. The embankment and railway facilities are now used by those who know the possible access as a place for lots of activities. Above all, the space is continually transformed by spontaneous vegetation, with wide biological variety, beyond the control of man. The project captures the challenge, through the use of a tram-train at reduced speed, to integrate the use of public space with the restoration of viability of iron essential to the running urban. With the intention of revealing more than rewrite the thesis aims to bring out the functional and aesthetic potential of the place working on spontaneous naturalization processes with the deliberate purpose of preserving unexpected forms of wildness, emphasizing by design the abrupt juxtaposition of infrastructure and nature.

barbeque, far volare aereoplani telecomandati, dipingere graffiti, giocare a volano o semplicemente sedersi.
