Circular No 218/2017 Dated 5 Oct 2017 (Updated on 1 June 2018) To Members of the Malaysian Bar Update on E-Courts | E-Filing and Digital Certificate and Token We refer to Circular No 104/2017 dated 25 May 2017, and Circular No 135/2017 dated 5 July 2017, where we informed Members of the Bar that the e-Court Phase 2 system is replacing the e-Court Phase 1 system, and provided updates to assist Members with the transition. (1) Application Process for Digital Certificate and Token The Bar Council has received numerous complaints regarding the delay in the process of purchasing and obtaining digital certificates and tokens from the vendor, Augmented Technology Sdn Bhd. We have been liaising with Augmented Technology Sdn Bhd to simplify and expedite the application process. You are now required to provide only the following, to apply for your digital certificate and token: (a) A completed Personal Certificate Application Form, available for download from here; (b) A photocopy of your National Registration Identification Card (“MyKad”); and (c) Payment and payment slip (online banking / CDM). For additional details, please refer to the Personal Certificate Application Form. This new, simplified procedure will take effect on 6 Oct 2017 (Friday). To register for an e-filing account or to renew your existing token, and for further information, please refer to the “Getting Started” tab, here.

Update on E-Courts | E-Filing and Digital Certificate and Token
We refer to Circular No 104/2017 dated 25 May 2017, and Circular No 135/2017 dated 5 July 2017, where we informed Members of the Bar that the e-Court Phase 2 system is replacing the e-Court Phase 1 system, and provided updates to assist Members with the transition.
(1) Application Process for Digital Certificate and Token
The Bar Council has received numerous complaints regarding the delay in the process of purchasing and obtaining digital certificates and tokens from the vendor, Augmented Technology Sdn Bhd.
We have been liaising with Augmented Technology Sdn Bhd to simplify and expedite the application process. You are now required to provide only the following, to apply for your digital certificate and token:
(a) A completed Personal Certificate Application Form, available for download from here;
(b) A photocopy of your National Registration Identification Card (“MyKad”); and (c) Payment and payment slip (online banking / CDM).
For additional details, please refer to the Personal Certificate Application Form. This new, simplified procedure will take effect on 6 Oct 2017 (Friday).

The following package deals are available for obtaining the digital certificate and token required for e-filing:

(3) New certificate / renewal of certificate + new token (valid for 1 year)
