OUTREACH MINISTRIES
WALK FOR HUNGER 2015: Thanks to all those who supported Project Bread in its mission to those who are food insecure by walking, volunteering or sponsoring walkers and volunteers. There’s still time to pledge your support! Go to www.projectbread.org to support an individual or TEAM IGNATIUS. Project Bread needs you to help them continue their good work. THIS WEEKEND SPRING/SUMMER CLOTHING DRIVE:
Our annual spring drive for the Guests at St. Francis House Day Shelter in Boston is this weekend. The new and gently used clothing that you donated will help to clothe over 150 poor and homeless women and men who seek clothing assistance. If you forgot your donation, you may bring it to the Parish Office by 7PM on Monday, May 4th.
HABITAT BUILD: We will again be supporting Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston in its mission to provide affordable housing for deserving families by spending a Saturday working at a Habitat building site in a Boston neighborhood. That date is May 30th and we need more builders! If you would like to be part of our Build Team, please contact Anton Finelli, [email protected], or Sr. Diane Vallerio, [email protected].
