This year see’s us combine China, Indochina & The Philippines into the same brochure. One of the main reasons why we’ve combined this brochure, is because of the similarity of experiences, from the depth of history; to magnificent contrasts of Traditional and New; to island hopping over 7,000 islands. We also include a new look into this region with the introduction of adventure touring from culinary to bicycle. We also have a selection of tours for our first-time travellers, called “Express”. These are designed to show you the best of the country as an introduction – think of them like “the entrée to the main course”.

As the old Chinese proverb says, “it is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books” which sums up this region exactly. With their extensive land-scapes, you can be in bustling cities one minute to walking the great wall the next. In this brochure, you can be swept off your feet, with a vastly changing landscape, where you will visit places only imaginable in your dreams.

Since 2010, we’ve been going the extra mile for our clients. From the moment you call and speak to one of our consultants; to the airport meet & greet; the tour guide showing you unique experiences that only the locals know and the amazing hotels we use in each, and every town. average group sizes ranging from 6 to 15 passengers. Most of our group tours are guaranteed to depart with a minimum 2 pas-sengers (excludes Festival & Seasonal tours), so you can book with confidence without worrying about your trip being cancelled due to insufficient number of people, like many other operators.

Our Local & National Guides

A Tour guide is the most important factor of group travel. We are proud and fortunate to have knowledgeable, professional and responsible guides, some of which have up to 30-40 years’ experience in our destinations. Our English-speaking guides may accom-pany you throughout the tours with larger numbers of passengers sharing their in-depth knowledge inside out along the way. Their job is to handle daily arrangements, coordi-nate with each local exhibition, assist on and off the coach and help at check-ins. Contact numbers are provided for our guides whilst travelling too, to give you peace of mind and 24hr assistance, should you need it. We even offer bilingual tour guides in some destina-tions. It doesn’t matter what your require-ments are, we have a suitable guide for you.

Transportation

Various means of transportation are offered in our itineraries, with comfort and enjoy-ment in mind!

• By Road:All coaches, vans, cars used are modern, air-conditioned vehicles, no more than 5 years old. On some tours, we keep 20% of seats empty, to allow for space & seat rotation on your trip.

• By Air:We do not compromise on service when it comes to flying. Full Service Airlines such as Qantas, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific are used as standard when quoting. Domestic air travel is with reliable and full-service car-riers to ensure minimal interruptions on your tours. Please refer to individual tours page for more details.

• By Water:Cruising is available on many of our tours to China, India and Indochina offering 5-star ser-vice and excellent on board experiences and entertainment. We only use first class cruise

Today the business thrives as a major competitor in the Asian, Subcontinent & African regions having delivered exceptional holiday experiences to

thousands of Australians.

Exceptional Value for Money

You will find our entire portfolio offers exceptional value for money with more inclusions and added value than any other competitor in the market! Thanks to our reliable local partners we offer you the best price right from the start allowing you more time to immerse yourself into planning your trip to each and every destination, however if you happen to find a cheaper price with the same quality inclusions and duration, we will match the price.

Touring Options & Benefits

• Fully Inclusive Small Groups You will not find any ‘Hidden extras’ or ‘Sur-prises’ after you book a fully inclusive tour with MW Tours and furthermore you won’t get lost in the crowd! When we say fully inclu-sive, we mean it. This means all our air and land packages are inclusive of international & domestic economy class flights, any cruise and train tickets, luxury accommodation, delicious local meals, English speaking local guides, tipping for guide and driver, local taxes and surcharges, entrance fees, some evening entertainment, pre-tour informa-tion booklet, travel wallet, air-conditioned coach transfers throughout and even daily mineral water. One of the benefits to travel-ing in small groups, is that you get attentive, personalised and intimate service. Your guide

will be able to create more unique experi-ences, aligned with your interests as a result. Put this together with making new friends during your tour, you really can see why this option is becoming a popular choice with our customers. Generally, these tours number between 6-8 travellers.

• Semi IndependentFor those looking at a budget option & may not want everything included, we also have a selection of tours that cater for this. Our semi-independent tours are designed to allow you the ultimate control of your holiday. Like making your own decision on which train to catch or finding your own way back to your hotel at the end of your tour. These tours offer adventure and exploration to customers who want the bare necessities but the most flexibility.

• Seat In Coach (SIC)Tourist destinations have for many years, taken groups of tours and it’s for this reason that in some countries they already offer tours that can be joined by many travellers. Referred to as seat-in-coach tours, these are designed so that English speaking travellers, from all over the world, can hop on these tours (ranging from daily to 14+) and experi-ence the “best of”. We have a number of these available through our portfolio.

• Tailor-madeEnjoy great flexibility and independence with our Tailor-made packages. Whether you are families with small children, a group of friends or you’re a member of local club,

school or community wanting to create a special interest tour, we can tailor-make your tour to suit your requirements to any of our destinations! Simply contact one of our friendly professional consultants to design your perfect itinerary.

Authenticity

We have some of the best cultural experienc-es in the market. Our itineraries are designed to take you to areas off the beaten track to discover unique & authentic experiences. Things such as staying in Temples where experiencing life as a monk, show you how simple life can be and it’s here that you might experience limited accommodation facilities. Others involve experiencing remote areas of India and the foot hills of the Himalayas, where you stay in regions that are so remote, that cars are banned from the town centres! You really can have the most authentic and cultural experience with MW Tours!

Luxury Hotels

Our small group touring focus allows us to have a broader range of accommodation options. All our group tours use quality 4 - 5* luxury hotels. All hotels are inspected by our staff and our local partners so that our high standards are not sacrificed. In remote areas, we use the best local hotels to accommo-date travellers. In each of our brochures, we provide a sample of the luxury hotels, we use & that you may be staying in.

Unforgettable Dining

Don’t worry about having no availability at restaurants like most bigger tours. Our local guide will get you a table at the most delicious, authentic & quaint eateries. Our tours include most meals as indicated in the itinerary. Breakfast can often be a combina-tion of local and western food, usually served in a buffet style. Lunch and Dinner consist of famous traditional local cuisine, with a wide range of specialties to choose from. Our in-cluded meals are designed to offer travellers an opportunity to experience various types of local cuisine and flavours.

Group Sizes

Group sizes in each destination vary, with

lines such as American Victoria, Pandaw Cruises, Century Cruises & Au Co Cruises.

• By Rail:High Speed Rail or “Bullet” trains are becom-ing more available in our destinations. We use modern technology with extra comfort! It is important to remember, that depending on your destination, some bullet train tickets re-quire your luggage to be shipped to your next destination separately requiring you to have overnight baggage for your train journey.

• By Cable Car or Ropeway:We have a number of locations throughout our tours where you are required to take a ropeway or cable car to the top. Locations include Mt Koya, The Great Wall of China, Zhangjiajie and Hong Kong Lantau.

Guaranteed Departures

We understand it can be very disappointing if your trip is cancelled, because it’s unable to reach the minimum numbers. With that in mind it’s also essential that we provide con-fidence and peace of mind to our customers. You’ll be pleased to know, that most of our tours are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people travelling. In the event, however that we are unable to confirm the minimum num-bers required to operate certain tours, we will reconfirm the running of the tours with you as soon as possible! Please refer to the terms and conditions, should this situation occur.

Stopover Packages

We have created various stopover packages in each country, perfect for adding onto an airfare to Europe or doing as part of a cruise. You can add one of them as pre-stay or post-stay package to make your holiday longer or simply mix and match to create your own unique itinerary.

Our Local Partners

With years of experience behind our reliable overseas partners, you can be assured our tours operate efficiently and smoothly in every aspect. Not only does our strong rela-tionship with our local partners ensure they will always look after you! You can assure yourself that you are getting the best local experience with professionals that know all the local secrets.

Tour Grading

PacingFor your convenience, we have graded our tours into 3 pacing categories “Easy Paced”, “Moderate Paced” or “Active Paced’ to assist in selecting the right one for you. You will find the below icons pres-ent on the heading of each tour, so that you can identify the grade of the tour you are considering.

Easy Paced: Generally suitable for anyone to join with shorter duration and a slower pace for your enjoyment.

Moderate Paced: Tour may include longer periods on foot and climbing stairs as well as longer driving period.

Active Paced: Involves longer than expected walking, trekking and many overnight train journeys which an active level of fitness is required for. It may also involve itineraries with no more than 1 night in each location.

Particularly in Asia, long periods of walking can get quite challenging with large crowds. Accommoda-tion can also be challenging as traditional style hotels can have bedding on the floor and bathrooms that have large steps. We recommend all passengers with existing medical conditions (whether external or internal), assess your personal fitness level before attempting to book, with a consultation with your doctor.

Tour Categories

Knowing which type of tour is also important when your selecting for the perfect holiday. We have categorised the types of tours into several groups to assist in selecting the right one for you. You will find the below icons present on the heading of each tour, so that you can identify which category the tour applies to.

Tipping

We’ve removed the confusion! Tipping, de-pending on your destination, is an expected element in travel these days. Although not a normal custom adopted by Australian’s, our guides, rely on and expect tips from passen-gers. Many passengers are often uncertain of how much to tip, because the tipping amount is dependent on the length, group size and services used during the trip. MW Tour’s re-moves this worry because tipping is included in most of our itineraries and paid for on your behalf. Your final documents will specify the recommended tipping amount for your tour guide and driver should tipping not be included, however is at your own discretion.

Solo Travellers

You might have heard the term ‘single supplement’. What exactly does it mean? Single Supplement is often referred to as the additional cost you pay when travelling single but staying in twin share accommodation. The cost can be almost the same as 2 people travelling, however MW Tours discount this so that you only pay on avg 30% extra. On re-quest, we can try to accommodate you with a
