Oyster drills live in saltier water in the middle and lower part of the bay. They sleep in oyster beds. Oyster drills are apart of the gastropod family. Oyster drills are important because they eat small shellfish. If they don’t they will die. Its important they do because then fish, birds, and blue crabs will die. If blue crabs die fishermen have nothing to catch.
