1 Packing List One suitcase with day backpack inside and one carry-on. We will be traveling a lot and changing hotels frequently. Just stick to the minimum. We shall have laundry service for about $8 in every hotel. Remember that you will certainly want to buy alpaca products, ponchos and silver jewelry in Peru. Make sure to come with an only 3/4 full suitcase. • Camelback, or day backpack (65 liters) and Gigg bottle • Small emergency kit • Head lamp • Swiss army knife • 2 poles with rubber stoppers (for extra support when hiking and to scare dogs) • Light, super absorbent towel • Sun block 50 SPF • Mosquito repellent (tea tree oil) • Earplugs if you are sensitive to noise in the hotels or the snoring of your roommate! • A small, personal crystal to record the energy of the magical ceremonies and places we shall be honoring • Light, warm winter coat • 3 long sleeve T-shirts • 2 pairs of cargo pants • 2 sweaters (1 medium and 1 for cold weather) • 1 light rain poncho (can be bought in Peru) • 1 sleeveless fleece jacket • Scarf • Gloves (can be bought the first day in Pisaq) • Woolen hat covering the ears (can be bought the first day in Pisaq) • Sun hat (can be bought the first day in Pisaq) • Bathing suit • Sunglasses • Hiking shoes (Merrell Moab mid waterproof hiking shoes about $120) • 2 pairs of knee high socks • Silk long underwear (long sleeve T-shirt and pants for extra warmth) • 1 nice dinner outfit + city walking shoes (fit for cobblestone streets) • Camera • 2 round plug adaptors for Peru electrical sockets (220V) (most hotels offer both 110V and 220 and most laptops and digital cameras, can safely take both without any need for a power adaptor). Hairdryers are available in all the hotels we shall go to. • Laptop (optional). We’ll have free Wi-Fi in almost every hotel. • 1 large memory stick to share our pictures • Passport in clear sandwich bag. • 1 paper clip to attach the Visa issued at the Lima airport to your passport. NOT to be lost! • A few extra empty sandwich bags (for toilet paper, etc..) • Plane tickets
