reasons to be a Charity Link Fundraiser

Here are 10 reasons why you should consider becoming a Charity Link Fundraiser

1. Employed, salaried position - not self-employed As a Fundraiser you will be employed with a contract of employment and will receive a good basic salary. You will also benefit from 28 days paid holiday a year. (Basic salary rate only and including 8 Bank Holiday days.)

2. Competitive basic salary – paid weekly You will receive a competitive basic salary which will be paid weekly.

3. Industry leading uncapped remuneration package We believe in rewarding success. By achieving your minimum weekly donor target, you will receive a weekly bonus in addition to your basic salary. So even during your probationary period (so long as you achieve your minimum donor target) your realistic first year earning opportunity will be around £40,000 and many of our fundraisers earn in excess of that figure.

4. First class training and development programme We want you to succeed so we invest heavily in your training and ongoing support whether that be when you first join and attend the residential induction and training course or the ongoing in-field training provided by our National Training Manager or the coaching and mentoring from your Area Manager or Team Leader.

5. The opportunity to represent household name charities We work with some of the most recognisable national charities so public awareness is high providing a strong basis on which to talk about their work with potential donors.

6. Work in pre-booked, paid for venues Charity Link benefits from a dedicated, fully resourced and experienced venues department who pre-book all the venues you will work at. Importantly, we book, pay and confirm venues – we don’t allow our Fundraisers just to turn up in the hope they will be allowed to work.

7. Comprehensive point of sale material and uniforms You will be provided with a uniform branded with the Charity you represent together with a branded stand, banner and point of sale material. For town and shopping centre venues, our van masters with their branded vans will provide gazebos and other equipment.

8. Be part of a supportive and motivated team With eight sales teams across the country each led by a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager, you will be supported by Team Leaders and Senior Fundraisers. Mostly, you will work in 2 person venues so you will always have a colleague’s support.

9. A supported role with full Head Office back-up Our passion for excellence has been underpinned by heavy investment in high quality management and head office staff from training to HR and from facilities to venues.

10. Be a part of a successful, growing and ambitious company Over the last 10 years we have recruited more than 1 million donors for our Charity partners. And we intend to continue growing the business and delivering even more committed high quality direct debit donors.
