Customer Satisfaction Survey
As a Gold Certified Partner
• Check your re-enrollment date in the Microsoft Partner Network
• Participate in a CSAT survey at least once per 12 months
• Participate at the latest the quarter before the quarter in which your date of re-
enrollment is (f.e your re-enrollment date is December 15, participate in the survey
round from June-August at the latest

• You select the quarter in which you wish to participate in the CSAT Index
• Sign in to the CSAT index portal
• Design your own survey
• Select from a list of existing questions
• Add your own questions
• Personalize with your logo
• Add contact details of customers for the invitation
• Once the first response have been entered you can go back into the system, see
the results as well as compare these results to averages worldwide and in your
region.
• Microsoft does NOT have access to the contact details of your customers.

• 4 partner levels in stead of current 3 partner levels
• 30 competencies instead of 50 specialization and competencies currently

Microsoft Partner Network Alert The Active Directory Solutions and Storage Solutions specializations are combining to become the Server Platform Solutions competencyAfter November 2009, all partners who have qualified for the Active Directory specialization will automatically be migrated into the Server Platform Solutions competency.After November 2009, all partners who have qualified for Storage Solutions specialization will automatically be migrated into the Server Platform Solutions competency.
The following retired certifications are no longer valid:
• Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Database Administrator
The following exams will be retired;• Exam 70-270—Installing, Configuring, and Administering Windows XP Professional• Exam 70-620: TS: Configuring Windows Vista Client• Exam 70-621: PRO: Upgrading your MCDST Certification to MCITP Enterprise Support
If your organization has qualified for this competency using the retired certifications, your organization will retain the competency until May 2010, at which time your organization will fall out of compliance. To maintain the value of your MCP credentials, you should ensure that your organization has associated individuals who meet the most recent exam requirements as soon as possible. Server Platform Solutions Competency RequirementsPartners must employ or contract with two selected MCPs who have achieved the advanced certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). In addition, both qualifying MCPs must pass at least one of the following Microsoft exams:

Microsoft Partner Network Alert The Windows Desktop Deployment specialization & Office Deployment is becoming the Desktop Platform Solutions competency
After November 2009, all partners who have qualified for the Windows Desktop Deployment specialization will automatically be migrated into the Desktop Platform Solutions competency. After May 2010, all partners who have qualified for the Office Deployment specialization will migrate into the Desktop Platform Solutions competency

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
In addition, each of the qualifying professionals must pass both of these exams:
• Exam 70-652 Technology Specialist (TS): Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring
• Exam 70-403 TS: System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008, Configuring
Customer ReferencesSubmit at least three customer references that showcase your virtualization technology solutions. Each customer reference must be:A previously deployed solution that focuses on the sales, implementation, and deployment of a Microsoft virtualization solution (server or desktop). Also, you should highlight in the reference submission whether the project included Solution Accelerators.A project that you have completed for a customer within the past 12 months.
Virtualization Solutions competency partners can qualify for the competency through the server virtualization path or the
desktop virtualization path.
