WHAT IS CLP?

Certified Leadership Professional “CLP” is a certification for professionals who demonstrate knowledge, skills and competencies in leadership as per the requirements of the Canadian College for Leadership & Management “CCLM”.

CLP’s are visionary, passionate and influential leaders. They apply unique knowledge and skills to build inspiring visions, develop great people, and deliver successful results. CLP’s would be the new game changer for today and tomorrow’s leaders and workplaces.

WHAT IS CLP Certification Body of Knowledge ‘BoK’?

The CLP BoK comprises of various themes of knowledge and skills which a CLP must demonstrate competency in. A CLP:

1. Understands leadership theories and practices, crafts inspiring vision, sets goals and enables others. 2. Has business shrewdness, applies risk strategies, and develops KPIs. 3. Develops the next manager, motivates and promotes performance. 4. Is a change agent, crafts and deploys effective change management strategies. 5. Is flexible and smart in dealing with various levels of people; whether junior or senior and manages

conflict effectively. 6. Is a coach and mentor who develops people to overcome their challenges. 7. Applies various motivational theories and practices to ensure people are motivated and encouraged to

deliver. 8. Is emotionally intelligent and deploys EQ tools to lead and inspire. 9. Manages effectively various personalities and office politics and builds positive office environment. 10. Excellent in communication, verbally and non-verbally, exercises unique listening skills and manages

conversations effectively. 11. Reads and analyzes body language effectively and changes conversation and messages accordingly. 12. Presents like professionals using various tools and communication strategies, and using vibrant videos

and audios. 13. Masters public speaking using unique process with structured steps and outline. 14. Is critical thinker, problem solver and resilient. 15. Negotiates for the best, and under stress with difficult clients and learns how to win sales deals. 16. Is effective in resolving conflict and applies various tools to create mutual understanding and positive

environment. 17. Is ethical, endorses and enforces ethical practices and respects people’s rights in workplaces.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

If you are a go-getter, visionary, passionate about people management and making enterprise successes, then, CLP certification is for your. You do not need to be occupying a leading role in your organization to apply for CLP certification.

Various people are pursuing CLP certification, including, but not limited to:

• Managers, executives.

• Team leaders.

• Sales, marketing , business development professionals.

• Administrators, change officers and many more.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS? In its effort to promote sound and solid professional practices and skills in leadership, management, strategy, executive assistance, sales, marketing and human resources, and on the same time, expedite the process of earning the CCLM prestigious certifications, the Certification Board at the Canadian College for Leadership & Management CCLM has decided to eliminate the Eligibility Process for all of its certification exams as of August 1st, 2017.

Therefore, candidates no longer need to submit an eligibility form before taking the exam. The eligibility process has been cancelled and now our exams are open for all candidates.
