In the Beginning

English Rose £9 Old as the hills but still refreshing and floral. Gin and lemon juice with Lillet fortified wine and a single drop of grenadine for some colour.

French Blade £9 Summer in a glass, traditional Polish flavoured vodka, elderflower cordial and some vanilla sugar mean this drink is sweet and moreish.

French 75 £15 Being named after a piece of field artillery should warn you this is a strong drink, gin and lemon juice all topped off with some of Champagnes finest.

Classic Champagne Cocktail £15 Having almost 8 decades of history surely means this beverage must be doing something right. A splash of Angostura bitters on a sugar cube drizzled with cognac and topped with champagne.

Dram For Diana £8.5 A good measure of gin, some raspberry vodka and almond syrup combined in a wine glass and topped with tonic water.

The Spoils are Shared

Bartenders Julep £37 A huge amount of Evan Williams Bourbon poured with sugar over mint leaves and crushed ice. All churned to combine the minty freshness with a splash of soda in a bartender’s shaker tin. 2-3 People.

European Spring Punch £75 Vodka, lots of it, combined with two fruity liqueurs; strawberry and blackberry. All topped up with sparkling wine and served in a sawn-off vodka magnum. 3-5 People.

Truly British £33 Loads of Hendricks gin and elderflower lengthened with apple juice and lemon for balance. All shaken with fresh mint for a taste of summer and served in a tea-pot so no-one knows you’re on the liquor. 3-6 People.

Shark-House Punch £125 A classic Fish-House punch is a boozy drink anyway, this drink is so large that a name-change seemed appropriate. Cognac and dark rum shaken with peach liqueur and a splash of lemon and pineapple juice. 3-4 People.

A Classic Caper

Mai Tai £9 Always a crowd pleaser; plenty of dark rum shaken hard with lime juice and Cointreau all balanced with almond sugar syrup.

Whisky Sour £9 A classic drink from history, we only make ours with egg white; it’s the only way to harmonise the whisky of your choice with the lemon juice and sugar.

Martini £9.5 A drink needing little introduction, your preferred vodka or gin (we prefer gin), lovingly stirred down with a splash of vermouth and a single drop of orange bitters.

Millionaire £9 Fresh lime juice with white rum, apricot liqueur and sloe gin make this tangy beverage an easy sipper.

The Last Word £10 A true classic, green chartreuse herbal liqueur, lime juice, maraschino liqueur and gin all in equal measures; Greater than the sum of its parts.

Old Fashioned £9 A drink so old that it defines all other mixed drinks: Whisky, bitters and the smallest drop of a dry cherry liqueur make this strong sipper one to savour, choose your whisky.

Daiquiri £9 The ultimate rum drink, just 3 parts; sugar, fresh lime juice and any rum of your choice. We recommend keeping it this simple, but a few flavoured variations can be made.

Wibble £9 A modern classic created by D. Bradsell during the 1970’s, sloe gin and grapefruit juice are shaken hard with Crème de Mure making a dangerously drinkable beverage.

Mojito £8.5 A drink that shouldn’t need much introduction: Fresh mint and rum all churned together with lime juice and topped with soda, the signature drink of cuba.

Manhattan £9.5 One of the oldest drinks around, plenty of whisky and some vermouth stirred together with bitters, let us know how sweet you’d like it and which whisky too.

Bellini £12 Peach or raspberry that is the question? Some fruit purée and liqueur swirled together and then capped with Champagne.

Aviation #2 £7 Gin, lemon juice and maraschino liqueur are all combined with a tiny drop of violette liqueur making this drink very floral.

Fortune favours the Bold

Clover Club £9 A hefty pour of gin, egg white and fresh raspberries all mixed together creating a zesty yet velvety straight-up drink.

Boulevardier £10 A bitter aperitif drink comprising of Campari, bourbon and sweet vermouth, drinking this is a time-warp to 1930’s New Orleans.

Pulque Fiction £9 To honour Quentin Tarantino, this blood-coloured drink uses pomegranate molasses and tequila stirred down with apricot liqueur.

Envious Sour £9 Don’t be jealous, get even! This potent mix of Chartreuse green and a splash of crème de menthe is almost too easy to drink, one for your enemies maybe.

Old Timer £9 Don’t let the name put you off, this is a daring drink combining scotch whisky, honey and sparkling wine all served in a champagne flute.

Berry Cobbler £9 A strange yet delicious drink; cognac, blackberry liqueur a drop of citrus juice and… red wine. Trust us, served with plenty of crushed ice this is remarkably refreshing.

Resting Point £9 Fresh strawberries match up with aged tequila, all sweetened with a French herbal, honey-flavoured liqueur, served long over ice.

Fallen Angel £9 A classic drink from the 1930’s featuring, would you believe it; Crème de Menthe. The sweetness kept in check with a touch of bitters and some gin.

VV&A £9 Floral and then some! Violette liqueur (think Parma Violet sweets) a drop of aniseed and a large measure of vodka, like marmite you’ll have a strong opinion about this one!

Jerry’s of Soho £8.5 Drink or performance, maybe both? Sailor Jerry’s spiced rum, set alight with fresh muddled berries and extinguished with apple juice. Served warm for the cooler nights of summer.

A Test of Skill

Bohemian £9 Feels like a classic, but actually created here at Cerise, blackberry liqueur is stirred down with a sweetened style of gin and the tiniest hint of chocolate, strong but smooth.

Titanium Martini £9.5 You don’t need many of these, Tanqueray 10 gin, Benedictine liqueur and just a hint of smoke from a peaty whisky all garnished with a flamed orange peel.

Baron Samedi £11 A drink garnished with flamed cinnamon always keeps this Cerise creation popular. Dark 8 year old rum mixed with lime juice and honey, all served long with ginger beer.

Honey Berry Sour £9 Davna Polish honey vodka and Chambord raspberry liqueur shaken hard with lemon and an egg white, trust us – this works.

Port of Tarragonna £9 Named for the hiding place of the monks who created Chartreuse while being exiled, this drink uses the yellow herbal liqueur, tawny port and VS cognac.

The Forbury £9 Short, sweet and incredibly popular. Disaronno almond liqueur, apricot liqueur and apple juice all shaken with some lemon juice for balance.

Creole £9 A very successful if unexpectedly delicious combination of Cachaca sugar cane spirit and spiced rum. Balanced out with lime juice and topped with a float of velvet falernum.

Maple-Williams Sour £8.5 America meets Canada in this balanced twisted classic.; Some citrus juice, American Whiskey, maple syrup to sweeten and a splash of chestnut liqueur.

Rosaritas Sling £9 Disturbingly similar to the recipe for a truly 1980’s drink; the tequila sunrise. Reposado tequila mixed with orange juice, passionfruit fruit purée and drizzled with blackcurrant liqueur.

Cerise Imperial £9 An extremely popular beverage, serving raspberry vodka, cherry liqueur and cranberry juice long with plenty of ice all topped with sparkling wine.

Bloodhound £9 A favourite gin drink of the team at Cerise, fresh strawberries crushed into a perfect gin martini; sweet & dry vermouths and plenty of gin.

Cerise Martini £9 Named for the venue, this drink combines every cherry-flavoured item we have in the bar, the resulting flavour is predictably intense cherry.

Vanilla Chocolate Martini £10 Another house creation, served looking exactly like a classic martini, this twist comprises of vanilla vodka and chocolate liqueur, a guilty pleasure.

Balvenie 12 Year Old £6 One of the classic after-dinner malts, Balvenie Doublewood's extra complexity and richness are a result of a second maturation in fresh sherry casks.

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old £4.9 The first whisky to truly market itself as a single malt, Glenfiddich now accounts for about 30% of all single malt sales worldwide.

Glenfiddich 15 Year Old £6.5 Three different types of casks is married together in a wooden vat, which is constantly topped up in solera style.

Balvenie 17 Year Old £12 17 year old version of the best-selling doublewood. Still initially matured in 'Whisky Oak' casks before being switched to sherry wood to finish, the extra years give it extra depth without being overpowering.

Blended Scotch Roughly nine out of 10 bottles of Scotch sold around the world are blends – that is, a mix of grain and single malt whiskies. These products are the lifeblood of the industry and the liquid expression of an art form that borders on alchemy: combining myriad components to create one harmonious and consistent whole.

Chivas Regal 12 years £4.4 Round and creamy, heather honey and apples layered on hot buttered toast.

Johnnie Walker Black £4 40 whiskies, aged 12 years or more, make up this complex international blend.

Monkey Shoulder £4.2 A superb blended malt whisky from William Grant, made with single malts from the company's three neighbouring distilleries in Dufftown. The result is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch.
